I have two issues. I have numerous leaks with my K-guard gutters and in the past Southern has repaired as part of their lifetime warranty. Now their Service Management is changing the policy that I will have to pay for leaks eventhough they are advertising no maintenance required. They also advertise that the finish durability is good for 20 years and my finish is coming off after only 8 years (2016). "Durability: The lifespan of the K-Guard system is practically unlimited. Made of heavy-duty aluminum, the base material will not corrode. The coatings on the gutter and hood will last over 20 years, and the patented hangers give our gutters the strength to withstand virtually any weather conditions."Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Excellent response once the right folks got involved. The company stood behind their product and assisted me in getting the warranty claim paperwork submitted and the repair work completed. This complaint would have never been submitted if the Southern Representative that initially came to my home had treated me in the way that the customer service folks treated me. Companies need to take note of these types of employees that hurt their business model and their long time customers.

********* I got an estimate from two workers from Southern Siding and Windows: Steve ****** and Allen ****** came out gave me an estimate on a walk in shower and collected $2000.00 from me. Four months later two other workers (father and son) came out to remeasure and stated they would come back when the material came in, About 2 to 3 weeks later I got a call from the installation guys and stated they had my material and we agree they would come out the next moring to start. Early that morning I recieved an text that his son was sick and soon as he got better they would come back (COVID was very bad at this time and I understood). No one every call and I did not hear anything else. I called the company and told them I changed my mind and I know the contract stated they would hold 15% but they are telling me no we changed it to 30% and I stated it probably went up but the contract I signed stated 15%. When I do call, it is always the manager name Jimmy will call you back and I never recieve a call back . I made several attempts but I get ignored .Business response
