BBB began investigating ELNRHH on November 17, 2020 after receiving a complaint alleging that the consumer ordered items from the company's website and never received the products. They also reported that the company charged their bank account for more than the authorized purchase amount.

Since that time, BBB has received a pattern of complaints alleging similar issues of non-delivery of products and excess charges to their accounts. The company has failed to respond to complaints.

BBB's investigation has determined that the phone number listed on the company's website is disconnected and the address listed belongs to a residence.

Other red flags noted included popular and hard to find items being sold at significantly reduced prices. For example, the company's website on November 17, 2020 listed an Apple Watch for only $5.99.

BBB offers the following tips to help consumers shop safely:

Know the advertiser: Some of the best deals are only available online; but be careful. It's easy for a fake site to mimic a famous retailer's website, so make sure you are shopping with a reputable site. Check out retailers at BBB.org before you shop.

Check the company's contact information: If the site is missing contact information, that is a red flag, but it's also important to confirm that an address that is being provide is accurate. Before you place an order, use sites like Google Maps to see if the address exists or what is located there.

Shop with a credit card: In case of a fraudulent transaction, a credit card provides additional protections; it's easier to dispute charges that you didn't approve. Being asked to pay for a product by wire transfer or alternative methods are red flags. Wire transfers and payments by gift cards make the recipient of the funds untraceable, making it extremely unlikely that a scammer could be tracked down.

Check a site's security settings: If the site is secure, its URL (web address) should start with "https://" and include a lock icon on the purchase or shopping cart page.

Be a savvy shopper: When shopping online, be sure to take your time, and read the fine print before submitting your order. Look for the return policy; although many online orders can be returned for a full refund, others have restocking fees. Some items cannot be returned; know before you buy.

Protect personal information: Read a site's privacy policy and understand what personal information is being requested and how it will be used. If a site doesn't have a privacy policy, that's a big red flag that it may be a scam.

Think before your click: Be especially cautious about email solicitations and online ads on social media sites. Many sketchy retailers advertise great deals or trendy clothing that don't measure up to the promotional hype.

Beware of too-good-to-be-true deals: Offers on websites and in unsolicited emails may offer free or very low prices on hard-to-find items. There may be hidden costs, or your purchase may sign you up for a monthly subscription charge. Look for and read the fine print.
