**Complaint: Misleading Pricing and Forced Add-Ons at Nissan of Cumming**I contacted Nissan of Cumming and spoke with ******, who assured me that the price of a car would be the out-the-door (OTD) price plus tax, tag, and doc fees. He mentioned that additional packages were available but optional.However, when I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that a $2500 "Nissan of Cumming" package was mandatory. This package included a spare key (which should be standard), 3 years of oil changes (overpriced), nitrogen in tires (a questionable service), free car washes (common at most dealerships), a paint protection plan (often unnecessary), and window tinting (which I didnt need).The sales manager offered to reduce the package to $1,500 only if I financed through them. Despite my willingness to consider financing with them, they refused to remove the package entirely.I believe these practices are deceptive, as customers are led to believe that add-ons are optional when, in fact, they are mandatory and non-negotiable. I request that Nissan of Cumming address these practices to ensure transparency and fairness in their pricing.Business response

You are 100% accurate. I am disappointed to hear the way we handled this and the experience we left you with. Optional equipment and adds are just that; optional. ****** is new to our team but the rest of the management group should have stepped in to correct this. I am going to use this as a training opportunity for our team so that we can improve and not make this mistake moving forward. I know the first impression we gave you was not the best, is there anything I can do to turn this experience around?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Although I am still dissapointed with their shady business practices, I purchased a car elsewhere. I reccomend customers avoid this dealership due to their sketchy practices.
