My biggest issue is I told them to do whatever they needed to do in order to get my car running. To start off I paid them $1,300 for some engine work and after several months they said they couldnt find a part they needed my girl found it in less then two hours so I havent the slightest clue how non of them could find it. Took my car home after I had them put the $200 part on I had to provide and not even 24 hours later my car died going up a hill no power at all after they told me it was running fine. Leaving me, my sick elderly father I was taking home from the hospital and my girlfriend stranded on the side of the road on an incline.I had a suspicion it was a bad fuel pump took it back and they confirmed it was most likely a bad fuel pump. They then proceeded after a lot of attitude from the owner to want to charge me an additional $600 for a $200 fuel pump so I ended up putting the pump in myself in less then 20 minutes; on top of the $200 I had to pay to have my car towed back to their shop after they said it was fine.It has now been about 3-4 months after I left Allen Automotive and my car is still running need I mind you not well it still has a check engine light and a rough idle with intermittent loss of power, but it is running slightly better then it was before.Honestly $2,000 and several months of waiting for a part Im not 100% confident they were even looking for to get a car back thats just barely running and plenty of attitude from the owner doesn't seem fair to me. I'm now having to take my car to the dealership to have it repaired which will probably cost me just as much as I paid them.I attempted to work things out with the owner Allen but he refused to budge on pricing even though his work left me stranded on the road with my sick dad who needed to get home to take his meds and rest.
