On ***** I received a bill from DeKalb country water that was doubled from my usual bills. I called in to the customer service and the representative was not helpful at all. she said something is definitely wrong. I asked her if she can tell me my daily usage and she said that the system is not picking up the readings from the meter. If the system is not picking up readings from the meter, then why is my bill doubled? After that call I looked at the meter, first off the cover for the meter was broken off and in the mud , and was not not connected to the device and the screen was full of Mud. After wiping off the screen that was full of mud the screen was blank. I stood there for at least 10 minutes the screen would not come on. I called back to customer service let them know what was going on I also emailed the pictures of the meter with the blank screen to DeKalb watershed. The 2nd representative that I spoke with was worse than the previous one as I requested for a supervisor to follow up with me and she was acting like she did not want to escalate my issue as I requested. Today ***** I noticed that the metal ground cover was barely in place I looked at the meter and saw that it was working in numbers were showing but it was blinking and going off and on It would not stay on. Obviously someone came today 12:29 to look at it but they did not bother to explain to me what was going on and why the representative was not able to look at daily usage because the system is not picking up the meter. I'm requesting to speak with a supervisor I am also requesting for a technician to come to my home and explain to me what is going on I also want my bill reevaluated as there are no leaks in my home. I also want DeKalb county watershed to show me proof of my daily usage for this bill. I would like to be contacted about this in a timely manner or I will be going to the News stations to let them know that the DeKalb county residents are still having this billing issue.

Had underground leak for months I wasn't aware. Which caused my bill to be extremely high not realizing the underground leak. Issue was fixed. I contacted the water company asking the water company can I get on a fixed payment plan. They are requesting $1900 in order to get on the plan. That is out my Budget as a senior citizen lady. Thank you

Bill amount: $4517.37 Account # ******* Statement # ********* I own a rental property, **************************************************************, under EAIS LLC.According to the lease agreement, the tenant is responsible for paying for the water bill. Initially, there was a tenant named ***********************. When she moved out, new tenants *************************** and ************************* moved in Dec 2017. Without my knowledge, the service was transferred to EAIS LLC. I wasn't aware, and the statement was going to ******************* instead of the address for EAIS LLC on the ****************, tax record, etc. Why was the water transferred to me without my knowledge instead of disconnected when *********************** moved out? Also, why did you keep the service on for five years without receiving any payment? *************************** and ************************* were evicted, and now a new tenant has just moved in and is establishing a service. The new tenant received the bill yesterday and sent a copy via text. I went to the office today and was told there is nothing they can do about it. In the past, they weren't disconnecting any service for non-payment and just started doing it. This is a bad business practice; I shouldn't be penalized for it. Also, the bill isn't a tiny amount. I can send a copy of the lease if needed.

I had a water leak on my property that resulted in higher than normal water usage that also generated two bi-monthly bills in September and November in the amounts of $565.59 and $603.66, respectively. When I called customer service to inquire about the two bills after I had received each I was advised to pay them in full and I could request an adjustment after two full billing cycles that showed the water usage had returned to normal levels. I did so in March of this year, and I was given an account credit that is a little over $1000. When I requested to have a refund, I was told that the water company does not process refunds as long as I am still residing in the property where the water service is being provided. I was also advised that I could have paid my normal **** amount when the higher bills were received and then waited for the adjustment to be applied to cover the overage. Since this was not communicated to me when I called to discuss the two bills last year, I am hoping that DeKalb Watershed will make an exception and refund the money to me due to the lack of information that was provided to me previously. My usual bi-monthly **** amount ranges from $70 to $80, which means that the current credit will take about two years to use. I am providing all of the documents that the water company requested to look into this matter. Thank you for your assistance.
