****************** is a community of about ***** people, and its broken into pods, with pod captains serving as communication hubs for their individual neighborhoods. Several weeks ago, ********************* of NatureScapes sent an email to several pod captains whose neighborhoods have had utilities marked for upcoming ******* cable work. ***** informed us that we would have to remove utility marking flags prior to NatureScapes mowing. One of the pod captains responded and informed him that, no, we couldnt remove utility marking flags for upcoming work until that work had been completed. ***** did not respond. After several days of soaking rain, NatureScapes sent in their mowing crew earlier this week (the week of May 13). At least three yards were damaged by the mowers sliding and creating ruts on sloping yards. One woman one of the people operating the mowers why he was mowing when they were causing damage. Reportedly, his response was that he had suggested to ***** that they not mow because the ground was so wet and he got in trouble for making that comment. On top of that, the mowing crew ran over every single utility marking flag in our yards, chopping them into pieces and leaving some with the wires sticking up out of the ground. Based on ****** previous instructions to do what we could not do remove utility marking flags before the utility work was done and the fact that two people running the mowers had to have been aware of the damage they were causing I am guessing, with no proof, that ***** instructed them to mow over the flags.I asked ***** repeatedly to have someone come out and inspect the yards for broken off flag wires sticking in the ground before someone steps on one barefooted and gets injured. After three requests, ***** responded, but refused to reply to my two requests to proactively come out and take care of these issues. Again, I emailed him and asked him to get this done.As of the time I write this, ***** has still not responded.
