On or about April 2022 we contacted Accuracy Tax Relief to help ** with some serious *** issues. ***** was our contact with that group. He assured me that they could absolutely help so we signed the attached contract. The total of these fees was to be $9,500. Even though I attempted to connect with him over the next few months, he would assure me that they were working on it. Around the first part of October he contacted me and cussed be as this was the worst case hes ever seen but said he would continue to work on it. However, we would need to send them more money to redo our taxes from 2018-2021 for a total of $6,831 which I paid. He then kept pushing me to pay him more money to pay for a specialist. At this point I finally realized I was being scammed. When they finally sent me the 2021 taxes he said we would be getting back $15,000 but they wanted to keep it to pay for a specialist. About mid December, a past employee contacted me, *****************************, and told be to stop paying ***** as he was scamming me. She was hired by ***** to help him fix our issue when he told ** it was some special guy that he knew. After she contacted **, she reviewed the 2021 taxes and found that they were horribly flawed. She then filed complaints with the *** and is currently the party that is helping **. I feel that Accuracy Tax Relief is in breach of contract and owes me a refund.Total fees to Accuracy Tax Relief was $16,331.

      Complaint: 19896578

We categorically deny the response from Accuracy Tax Relief as follows:
      1) We have paid the *** well over 60K since our troubles began.
      2) We never said we didnt or werent going to pay the ***. We were requesting help to negotiate with them as we felt we didnt owe that amount due to errors on previous years filings from our past CPA.
Our previous tax people were doing our taxes incorrectly, that is how we ended up in this situation and why we sought help.
      3) We did EVERYTHING that ***** asked ** to do, including providing additional funds up to and until December of 2022 when I began to suspect fraud.
      4) ***** was HYPER aware of our situation before they said they could help. He conveniently forgot until we had them mostly paid off and until they started actually working on the project in October. At which time he called me up, cussed me and wanted more money.
      5) We would like records of when he actually spoke to the *** as the *** rep we spoke with said he had never heard from Accuracy until we started pushing ***** toward the middle of November.
      6) We would like an explanation along with a timeline of his actions on our case.
      7) ***** did nothing in his reply, to this complaint, to explain why he deserves to keep any funds. He is clearly in contract violation!
      8) And finally, we paid ***** 6K to redo, upon his advice, 2018-2021 taxes. He only got to 2021 and his team totally messed them up! There are formal *** compliant letters filed with the *** showing this.

      Sincerely,

Responding to client complaint that was sent on 4/17/23. ***************************************************************************************

      Better Business Bureau
      Complaint #********

This is in response to the above complaint number from Mr. ******************************** are truly sorry we couldnt take **************** any further with his engagement than we did.
**************** has owned a business earning over $400K per year and has not paid $1.00 in federal taxes.  His debt is astronomical and would not follow any instructions.  We understand that change is scary, however; to remedy his situation, he must (must) correct the way his company does its accounting.  We performed many hours of work on his behalf from the initial analysis, consulting hours, administrative cost as well as the cost of his engagement.

We eventually transferred his engagement with his approval to our licensed enrolled agent,***************************** which was paid $5000 on his behalf and let him know we would be disengaging with his approval.  We cant mislead or produce incorrect documentation for the ************************ (IRS) under any circumstances. He owes well over $500K to the ************************ but doesnt want to pay the tax debt.  We couldnt go any further, earned our fees and still owed money.

We are truly sorry he would not follow our instructions and our involvement.

******************** accepted the $5000 payment and was paid weekly $1200 to work on Mr. ******* case and took him as client and resigned from the company two days later.

**************** does not want to pay proper fees for his avoidance with the IRS.

We are so very sorry for his lack of understanding and wish him the best.

I am rejecting this response because: It was a copy and paste of their previous response. We have also filed a complaint with the ************* ***************** as well as turning it over to our attorney. I wanted to resolve this like adults, however their response continues to be full of lies and half-truths.

      Sincerely,

      *********************
