I have been a patient of ********************************* (**************) since 6/18/2013, when she was with Wolf Family Dentistry DDS Pc in **************, **. I never had an issue with her practice until May 16, 2022. I was the client that drove 7hrs from another state, for dental appointments with her. May 16, I arrived for my 11:00am appointment. An associate informed me I had an outstanding $77 **** from Sept. 2018 and $40 no-show charge in Oct. 2021. I was perplexed, Payment was immediately requested. I requested documentation and an explanation for not contacting me sooner, especially since I had been in the ****** for regular services since 2018. The excuse was the records were recently reconciled, the insurance company recently denied the claim & a statement was mailed to my home in March. The front desk rep would not tell me my address she had in their system. I asked another rep sitting near us and she recited my current out-of-state address. I asked the first rep, how a statement was mailed in March 2022, and never received. Her response was incoherent. During my appointment, I logged into my dental insurance account and showed the rep the statements which revealed I did not owe any money on the 2018 claim. I also called the insurance company. On speaker, the insurance rep informed all of us that the claim was denied because Dr. ****** ****** performed the 2018 follow-up service less than 30 days of the required waiting period. *********************** ****** erred.The $40 no-show fee was erroneous. I offered ************** to view my call log to show I called in 2021 to cancel after ***** confidently stated her "girls" would not make such errors. She declined. One assoc. apologized and offered to reschedule me for the next day. I just canceled. Relationships take time to build and seconds to destroy. As dentist's daughter, I respect the profession. After 9 years as a client, this relationship is terminated. My time, client history, and respect as a person were not valued.
