Project start: 3/18/*********** finish: 5/13/22, Amount paid: $92599.99, Invoice #: 199 We experienced leaking from the shower into the kitchen, Date issue started/reported: 5/16/22, Date resolved: UNRESOLVED. We were advised the project would take 3 weeks and we would have 1 year from the finish date to report any issues and get them resolved at no cost. We have a leak that was caused by the shower remodel. The leak is unresolved and the damage he caused trying to find the leak is still not repaired. In June 2022 he attempted to locate the leak. He removed a kitchen light and cut holes in the ceiling and master closet. He thought the issue was the jets he installed and advised us not to use them. He put sealant in the shower which was supposed to fix the issue. We used the jets a few times and there was no leaking. He returned and covered the holes he cut in the kitchen. Before he could return to paint the holes, replace the light, and fill the hole in the master closet, the leaking started AGAIN. The paint peeled away in the surrounding area of the ceiling and it looks as if the ceiling is splitting. We immediately sent pictures and reached out. He advised he knew the issue and would come at a scheduled date and time to repair. He never came back. We sent multiple texts and left multiple voicemails. My final attempt to contact him was on 10/28 and received no response. Imagine fearing each day that your child can walk into the kitchen at any time and the ceiling cave in. This is what my family has been left with for now almost SEVEN MONTHS. I'm unable to entertain because of the poor anesthetics in my kitchen. I also can't enjoy all of the features of the shower (we can't use the jets) I paid almost $10000 for. His unprofessionalism and disregard for my family's safety is unacceptable. I would like for a portion of what we paid refunded so we can find a reliable contractor to fix his error. I also have texts to support this claim but there are too many to attach.
