8/6/2022 I was contacted by finger and son collision ********************************************************. He stated the car could be fixed for $4500 and it would *********** days including all parts new which less than quoted by insurance. Once my car arrived at there facility insurance notified me they asked for additional $3000 to fix the vehicle entirely. 9/9/22 I went to finger ******** to check on the car being it had been well over 6 days, I arrived to see my car sitting with the windows down, the young boy stated they ran out of gas. It rained plenty in between that 5 weeks. Being they were already paid I sent additional $1800 to ensure everything would be done in the 3 more days hes telling me. Arrived on the 9/12/22 the car was a mess paint was wet car hood was off track fenders sticking out. I refused to take the car they stated it would take 3 additional days to buff the car and have it completed accurately. 9/14/22 I get a notification via my phone from the tracking device I use in my vehicle that my car location has been updated which was odd because the car had been at the shop for now 6 weeks and I never got these notifications. I contacted the young individual who contacted me initially for my car to get to there shop to see if he was aware if someone was driving the vehicle he stated no and that the cars were secured behind a locked gate but that I should contact the boss (***********************). I called him nobody answered so I proceeded to go to the location where the tracker stated my car is **** ***************. (35 mins from my residence). I find my car outside of this apartment building unlocked. 13 mins away from shop. I call the shop owner *********************** and he stated he was driving the car and drove it home which is unacceptable. The repair he did has put my car in a worse state then it was before repair. My car is now moldy on the inside the paint has overspray everywhere and my driver door panel no longer works. My grill wasnt replaced its missing pieces.Initial Complaint

I was told the repairs would take 3 weeks tops. Its coming up on 9 weeks. The garage has been paid. Ive reached out daily. Everyday with a different excuse. His daughter submitted the wrong paperwork to the insurance. Which caused a delay in the 2nd payment. I was told 3 weeks in the parts were received and put in. For an additional 4 weeks I was told my vehicle would be done Tuesday. Then was told his compressor was broken and hed be taking it to a friends shop that was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday 5/13 I was told the vehicle was drying. Would be finished tomorrow. Today 5/14 I reached out with no luck. I drove to the garage. My vehicle is sitting outside untouched. I spoke to the owner which again it was just apologies and excuses. I am now told Thursday 5/19. I have paid over $2000 for a rental. The insurance paid $900 something. Ive spoke to both the insurance and rental company they both said the garage is liable for compensating me because its their mistakes that are causing the extended rental. Its not my fault his garage submitted the wrong paperwork multiple times. Its not my fault his compressor was broken. I should have been given the option to choose a different shop. He shouldnt have excepted the job and payment from my insurance knowing he was unable to complete said repairs. I am looking for my vehicle to be fixed as soon as possible as well as compensation for my rental due to mistakes and issues made by the garage causing an extended rental period. I have all documentation. The rental will have added expenses than attached because I still have said rental. I need the rental due to having a child with health problems as well as needing to keep my job to provide for my 3 children.
