My ********** moved to GA from MI, on March 1st, 2022. We moved to River Ridge, In Riverdale GA. The first week there was okay because we was barely home. We was riding around site seeing, but when we got home later in the night we would always see about 3 roaches. Being from MI & not knowing, we thought maybe this was normal. The second week there we was home a lot more because my husband started working. We started seeing 10 plus roaches a day. We started taking pictures/videos of these roaches, Sunday, March 13, when it started becoming too much. We realized after doing research that roaches can be toxic to the air and got worried. Our toddler had been waking up in the middle of the night coughing uncontrollably. He (our son) has been to an asthma specialist multiple times because of wheezing etc, & was given a breathing machine (we have papers from his specialist to back it up & will print it off & send it to you if needed). Because of this we left & went to a hotel that night (Sunday, March 13). The next day we told the office about the ***** problem. After looking, the manager said she didnt see anything but will send Pest Control anyway. She also refused to knock off any rent for us staying at a hotel so we were forced to stay there that night. While there we seen an excessive amount of roaches again (pictures taken), so we went to a hotel from Tuesday, March 15 through Tuesday March 22. Pest control did come out Thursday March 17, but when we checked the apartment 4 days after that, there were still multiple roaches, & still is now. We talked to the manager about ending our lease & getting our deposit back Tuesday, March 22 & even gave her the paper about my son breathing issues. We were told she was going to put in the request & ask for a statement from pest control. She said she should have everything by the next morning, but called saying she was still waiting. Now, Thursday March 24, they wont answer our calls or open the door. Please help.
