We purchased a 2011 Ford F150. The truck is previous Canadian unit. They announced it as a prior Canadian. Once we had transport deliver the unit we fount that its in kilometers instead of miles on the odometer. Usually you can switch the kilometers to mileage but on this particular unit the steering buttons are inoperable and you cannot do it. I called Friday the 11/26/2021 and spoke with the manager in charge(according to the person who answered the phone). After we spoke he stated that odometer discrepancies was announced and he would rewind the tape and we would both listed to the announcement. As we listened to the tape the auctioneer never announced "odometer discrepancies or truth miles unknown." I asked him to pause the tape and prove where exactly was announced, but the manager proceeded to tell me that I should have done due diligence. The unit is in kilometers, per NAAA arbitration police mileage discrepancies odometer are grounds for arbitration. In addition back in 03/31/2016 there is mileage discrepancies as well, which further proves the unit is true miles unknown and is ground to be arbitrated. The auction should buy the unit back .We already paid $300 transport on top of the $7610.Business response

I am responding to this complaint.
It was made by a business about my business.
*** ********* is a used car dealer and he bought this vehicle from our Dealer Only Auto Auction. The vehicle was announced having a Canadian Odometer, Previous Canadian and having Structural Damage.
The vehicle is not True Miles Unknown, it just needs converted from Kilometers to Miles.
This vehicle was represented properly.
*** ********* requested his $370 refunded and would remove this complaint. If he does this and also his negative review online I will refund that amount.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is Unsatisfactory to me.
******** ***** *********I do accept the resolution in this case. From day 1, I needed to have the odometer corrected. Maybe if the Gm got involved a little bit early in this case, this would probably not have occurred.
