My experience with them was nothing short of a complete nightmare. They took on a small projecta 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom spaceand managed to turn it into an absolute disaster. From start to finish, they demonstrated an astounding level of incompetence and disregard for their work.The balcony, which should have been a straightforward update, turned into a nightmarish mess. It seemed as if they were attempting to recreate a modern art masterpiece with paint splatters covering everything but the intended surfaces. Their lack of professionalism turned what should have been a pleasant outdoor space into an eyesore.And as if the balcony disaster wasn't enough, their work in the bathroom was an exhibition of their lack of skill. Not only did they leave a gaping hole in the wall, but their attempts at grouting the bathroom tiles looked like the handiwork of an untrained child. It's astonishing that they claimed to be professionals.Their artistic "contributions" didn't end there. The door frames, once pristine, were now adorned with chips and dents. It's as if they were intentionally trying to add a distressed, rustic aesthetic except it was clear that it was the result of their complete lack of care.Perhaps the most infuriating part of this entire debacle was their outright dishonesty. They made grand promises about their capabilities and the work they would deliver, only to provide a fraction of what was expected. To make matters worse, they vanished without any explanation, leaving the project in shambles.In summary, "BKW Contractors and Sons" took a small, manageable project and transformed it into an epic disaster. Their incompetence, lack of professionalism, and blatant dishonesty are qualities that no customer should ever have to endure. It's evident that they have no respect for their work or their clients. Save yourself the headache and find a contractor who actually values their reputation and takes pride in their craftsmanship.

Horrible communication. Gross delays. Lots of excuses. No ownership of their disjointed oerational processes. I received an invoice with no terms, conditions nor instructions on how to pay on the day of the scheduled service for what should have been warranty work. When the work was completed, the owner asked for a check. I told him that I didn't have checks then I asked if I could pay via *****. He said yes and that he would have his project manager and girlfriend to send me the ***** informaton. He left and I went on with my day which entailed client calls via ZOOM and other business matters. My phone was on silent as to not disrupt my calls and when I checked my phone in the evening I had a the ***** information as well as two other text messages from her. One of which was threatening in tone, it read: "... we would hate to assume that the non response is intentional. It would be a-shame to hit your credit over $350.00. Live with your decision. All the best to you." It was recieved at 9:38pm. Work was completed around ****pm. After going back and forth with them for more than six months and being without the use of my bathtub that entire time, she threatens me after not hearing back in 6 hours. What???!!! I have gone DAYS without hearing back from them and when they called back it was a bunch of excuses and delays. To be clear, I was prepared to pay them on the day of service, even though we have not agreed to that nor did they request it. After receiving the threat, I decided to delay payment for up to 30 days given that there are no terms and conditions noted on the invoice. I received subsequent threats via text message from her which read: "I'm the worse type of business person I will turn $350 into $5K. You will never sale your home! ... "One text message likened me to "ni**as trying to get over". This line of communication is grossly unprofessional.
