I bought a car February 18th of this year and In march I had to turn around and put the car in the shop so I immediately got in touch with the dealership about the car and they said I had a warranty so they put the car in the shop and it sat there for six months I got fed up about them not fixing it so I went and picked the car up so I can fix it myself so I called the dealership to tell them what I’m doing and they said that they will get in touch with the warranty company to get my money to fix it. I put down a 1,800 dollar down payment for a car, and provided all the necessary paperwork. They threatened to send a warrant out for the vehicle if I did not return it, after I had it in my possession for 3 weeks, henceforth breaching their contract.Business response

******** ***** come in to our office on ****/2024 inquiring about a 2018 *** ****. She provided us with bank statements that were suppose to reflect her employment deposits. After the bank reviewed theses documents and verified employment it was established that Ms. ***** had given false information concerning her time of employment causing the bank to reject the deal, we reached out to her and tried our hardest to work with her to establish verification for employment and residency as she had multiple addresses but were unsuccessful at establishing three months of employment as she stated in the initial application. We requested the vehicle back due to we were not able to get her funded with a bank due to the misrepresentation of employment. She was not compliant on the return of the vehicle request; we did state that she had an allotted amount of time to have the vehicle to our lot. We have tried our best to help her to ensure she could keep the vehicle but unfortunately with the misrepresentation of information on her part we were not able to make the deal happen.

The information given to Crown Motors that they claimed as false, was not. I explained how I had been working at ***** **** since December, but I did not receive my first paycheck until January. The paycheck I received was a physical check, and assessable through my bank statements. As for the “allotted amount of time” they so graciously offered me, it was 3 hours on they day they demanded the car back, therefore breaching their contract yet again. I have evidence and whitenesses who heard the rude conversation between I, Dan, and Jade over the phone around 3 o’clock, demanding the car back at 5:30, although I explained that I was in ************ ** for work that day. All of this can be proven on my end if need be.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Be that as it may, you have yet to refund my 1,800 dollar downpayment. If it is not received in a timely manner, legal action will take place. Refund me my 1,800 dollar downpayment. Not returning my money will be viewed as theft on your part.

September 2023 my husband and I found a 2022 ****** we were interested of financing, at Crown motors. We were told we are able to get the car, and trade in our **** ***** ********* *** truck amount of 12,500 in trade value, the truck was financed with ******'s financial of ****** **. After being told we are approved for the ****** we returned the next day to fixed paperwork, only to be told no but we got approved for a **** ****** ***** They had us put insurance on the car immediately, amd took our truck. First the company messed up our social security numbers on paperwork so it didn't get completed that day, we drove the car to our house. The very next day we tried to give the car back due to the transmission having issues, a bolt missing in driver side tire that connects to wheel bearn. We was told to leave the property immediately threatened with cops and he( holk) was cussing at ny mother and I. Also refused to return our $500 down payment ( originally for ******) we ( husband and i) never finished paperwork for the ******, was called saying everything was finished our payments were 600$ monthly and we got an extended warranty with ******* ******, now the car doesn't run, transmission is completely ruined, we can't fix it because the warranty refuses to cover it. We called the finance company ***** to get paperwork on the car since we NEVER seen any documentation for the ******. My husband's signature is not the one on the paperwork nor is mine. We have a car that we CANNOT drive. And still pay $600 a month for. On top on that issue, crown motors waited until the ***** ********* was up for repo to pay it off. We have notes and documentation backing they refused to pay off for an extended amount of time. Crown motors refuses to talk and help us resolve the issues and Still threaten law enforcement. This place sold me a vehicle that already had something wrong with it. Not even a week after I got the vehicle, I started having problems with it. I’ve taken it to them two times previously for it to be “fixed” and it would work for a little while and then mess up again. The first time it was free, the 2nd time they told me there would be a charge for a problem that already existed when I got the vehicle from them in the first place. Every time I take it up there, they say “it’s just a sensor”, yet I’ve gotten FOUR other options and they all say catalyst converter and when I tell them that, they get an attitude and disregard everything I say. This last time, I asked them if I could just get a different vehicle since this one keeps messing up and they refused and told me that I would just have to wait until they can fix it. I’ve also paid around $223 for a new battery because that was also bad. *** **** * ****** ****** ** *** ********* *** *** ** ** ****** *** * ** ** ****** ** ***** ***** ******* **** ******* ******* ******* ** ****. Ms. ******* ****** come to our lot *****23 and purchased a 2012 *** ******* that had 101,427 miles on it at the time of purchase. There were no known issues with the vehicle at the time of purchase. She brought the vehicle back to our lot on ***/24 with complaints, the millage on that vehicle at that time was 110,509 so she has put 9,082 miles on it in roughly 7.5 months, she stated she had not been able to drive it any because it would not go above a certain speed that the vehicle had been sitting for months, we did a computer diagnostics which showed the vehicle had a sensor issue we gave her a roundabout price of what the sensor would cost and she could find someone to fix it or we could give her recommendations, she wanted us to fix at our cost but she has a warranty that will cover it. She did purchase a 24 month or 30,000 mile warranty on this vehicle, she is more than welcome to take that warranty and use it at any mechanic shop, we are not a repair shop we just sale vehicles but do not do any repairs to sold vehicles. We apologize for the inconvenience this may be for her and we will gladly give her a copy of the warranty and recommendation of where accepts that locally that would be more than glad to assist her.

I purchased a used vehicle from Crown Motors located in Tifton, GA. (The buyers order shows their address is ***************************************** The SAME DAY I purchased it, I had the first issue. It was a sensor. After that was replaced, other issues began. I called multiple times and was told various things. I also requested they buy the vehicle back since the issues began within 24 hours of purchase. They declined. The transmission is the problem. They claimed they would fix it, however it has been 2 months and they still have not fixed it. The owner, Hoke, has hung up, given numerous excuses, and still has not provided resolution after 2 months. I was not advised of the mechanical issues when I purchased the vehicle. I was not provided a buyers guide. I was misled and sold the vehicle under false information.
