First Franklin Financial are just rip off Gangster Financiers and I truly regret doing business with them. Recently I paid My account off (7) seven months early and I am now due a refund for the interest for seven months.The local Manager ***** sent Me a small check amount not nearly what they owe Me in interest.Their is no transparency in their actions. I am still waiting on requested detailed accounting of My account. As well as the full unearned prepaid interest.Woe to anyone thinking about doing business with these People they are not genuine.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

They are so rude. They refuse to take my payment when a month behind and turned me over to small claims court. Refused money from me several times. This is the Alexander city Al branch. The region office in ************* was just as rude.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

I paid off my balance and they charged my bank twice. After disputing with my bank and getting the second charge refunded to me, they are claiming my bank did a charge back. At the branch level they are incredibly rude, harass you, lie and steal your money.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

1st Franklin reported me as paying late in July/2024. I was not late. The manager, **** acknowledged I was not late. He blamed their automated system. I called their corporate office and complained. No help. I was closing on my home when a pre-closing credit report revealed my scores went down (64) points. I requested a letter of explanation from **** and he said he would look into it. It has been almost a week with no response from him. I was unable to close, I am in a hotel and my loan is pending. I disputed this online and ******* says my dispute is donestill reporting LATE. My loan was paid off in August 2nd. Dont use these people they are unprofessional and run a shoddy business. I am going to seek legal advice for damages.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

The branch in *******. I cant prove what they did but I have my suspicions. For eight months, I overpaid on my loan, had no problems with it. All of a sudden a payment is lost in the mail. Then two months later two payments were lost in the mail when I tried to pay the loan off. Person at the bank that I talk to told me that the ** number address they gave me was closed and payments were taken 3 to 4 months to post an account. I made a new payment to pay off the loan and demanded my two checks that never went through sent to my home. I never received a letter from them stating the new address where to send the payments. I suspect they were just holding it because I was overpaying it and theyre losing interest. But its all speculation. Seems odd that for eight months no problems with my payments being mailed in then all of a sudden Im having problems.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

I see a lot of dissatisfied customers here in the reviews. We must remember ************ has humans working for it. Humans are not perfect and sometimes bring their emotions to work. It reflects on the company, not you. and humans make mistakes, Glad they were taken care of. I deal with this company and so far everything is pleasant and good. The head manager (*******************************) at the establishment in ******** seemed to be a bit prejudiced towards me. I was waiting patiently to be assisted so I sat in the waiting area. And when the head manager came in she had a scolding look on her face as if I disgusted her with my presence. So with that type of energy being put into the environment I left the facility and I will never return to another location because of the experience.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response
