Attached you will find that I had 2 systems ********** ****) installed on March 18, 2016. In the Proposal and Agreement(attached), it is clearly stated that there is a 10 year parts warranty and 10 year compressor warranty dated 3-16-16 with the total price of $6720.00, signed by *****************(Owner). I gave the green light and two days later the job was completed and paid for, for the total amount of $6720.00....invoice#***** is attached. On August 5th 2022 it was diagnosed that the blower motor in my upstairs unit had failed, and after finding out that my **** system was no longer under warranty I had ******* Heating and Air replace my blower motor on August 9th 2022 without warranty for the amount of $700.00. See ******* Heating and Air attached invoice. On August 5th 2022, I was able to contact ***************** and sent him the ********************* Invoice, and the serial number the the **** system. He mentioned that the parts should've been under warranty and that he would look into the matter. But after that night I was no longer able to get in contact with him. I sent him a couple of text messages, a phone call with voicemail, and Email. No response has been returned. This was when I made the decision to have ******* Heating and Air repair my ****. I understand that AccuAir would not be responsible for labor. ******* Heating and Air did quote me $189.00 to replace the blower motor if it was under warranty. ******* Heating and Air would also be able to provide this quote. AccuAir should honor the warranty, but since they did not they should at least honor the repair fee.Initial Complaint

I had Accuair replace my HVAC system last week and had the most terrible experience. The first issue was they were almost 3 hours late. Then, after removing my old HVAC system, they realized the measurements had been taken incorrectly and the new system was not the correct one for my condo. They were not able to do anything to help me that day and ensured me they would arrive by 2pm the next day (Tuesday). I forgot to mention that while they were removing the old system, they busted one of my neighbors pipes that runs through my closet and also scratched my very old hardwood floors when they dragged the old system out. At 2:30 the next day when they had not arrived, I called to see where they were and was told that the correct system was actually not available and they didnt know when it would be. I had already slept one night without any AC in the first 90 degree week in *******. It wasnt until Friday that they finally came and brought the correct system so I was without AC for almost a whole work week and hardly provided with any updates. On Friday, the install guys said they would only need a few hours but instead were here from 9am to 6pm. I found out after they left that they forgot to put in some screws so the whole side panel fell off. I had to get them to come back the next day, when they were two hours late again, just to put the screws in. Also what I ended up finally getting in the end is not what I was quoted (I wanted a smaller system to gain space in my closet and they said they could do that). This new system has a terrible chemical smell that has been giving me major headaches and Im not able to be in my condo for long. I was told for all the mess and lack of clarity I would be getting money off my total quote. Instead of this, they charged me full price and didnt even send the ****. Ive been calling with no luck getting them to give me a resolution. They also told me the smell is normal and wont go away. Im getting a second opinion on that.Business response

I am sorry she had not been pleased with the new air conditioner system in her condo. We tried to find something small to fit in her closet but every thing is bigger now due to higher efficiently standards. Smallest indoor unit is 17in x 21 inch and this is what we installed. the old one was 18 in x 24 in. We gained some space but it is a small closet. We were delayed several times due to supply chain shortages and traffic to her mid town location. It took longer than normally would but we supplied a window air conditioner so she would not be totally with out air conditioning. We will have a service person inspect the new system on 6/17 to check on any new smell coming from the unit. She had to reschedule from an earlier date. I offered a $ ****** refund due to the longer period of time it took and was agreed upon. Still to have some one look at her floor to check on any damage.
Our goal is to have every customer of ********************** pleased with the job we do for them. Our ratings on BBB and several other rating services speak for them selves
Let me know how else I can help resolve any issue.
