When I signed the contract, I was expecting a new roof and gutters all around. I got a new roof and gutters 2/3 of the way around the house. I explained to the boss I worked nights and asked what time to expect the crew. I set my alarm to get up after a couple of hours of sleep to let the crew in. They have already forced my gate open and this is 15 mins before they were supposed to be there, the boss said I kept 8 guys waiting. Why do you think I asked for a time?? I was tired and slept as I was due to work again that night. (6pm, get home at 4 am. I had set my alarm for 645am.) The gutters on the back of the house were up against plastic sheeting on top of a patio cover. It was already worn and broken (the plastic) and I told the guy in charge it would be replaced later. They could have taken the old gutters off from the roof and put on new but it was inconvienent. If they had asked me, I would have told them to break it if they needed to get access. When I got around to replacing the plastic and rafters, I see the company did not do that section. When I contact the boss and the office, I'm told they have given me more than I paid for. I didn't ask for a partial job! Why would I have signed the contract if it I had known this is what they were going to do. It wasn't pointed out they weren't doing that part. When you spend that kind of money, you expect them to do right by you. They didn't say they could fix it for $$ amount. They are saying they gave me more...At the start, I thought I wanted a different profile and was told it was going to be more. Saw it on a house and changed my mind. Did they give me the original quote from a couple of days before? No. So I gave them more. I just wanted it done right. They have been in business for a long time, that's why I went with them. They did not attempt to fix the issue. They are angry with me and I have a terrible mess. Now I have to try and get it fixed and I thought that it was one thing that was done.
