      I was approved for a car loan through Pre-owned ********* for ********* December 2023 for a 2009 Cadillac XLR ******* was at ****** miles.Prior to purchasing the car I had bought a 2012 ******* ******* ******* was at ****** miles at time of purchase which now is at 1****** miles running fantastic till today with no problems at all.After completing my job for the evening as a **** carrier I noticed the Cadillac and called the dealer the next morning cause I was interested.Having prior experience with the satisfaction of the ******* I thought of talking to the same sales person who sold me the car but he was not there anymore. I'm really not sure if it's the same management cause it was 5 yrs. since then.The Sales person I spoke to met me and we tested the car. I told him about the check engine light, the front grill strip, the drivers door light cover as well as the ******* cause it was quite low for a 2009 at ****** mile and was told it was the original.I also noticed the Stereo wasn't working the windshield water as well as the lighter. I was told that they will get it fixed.Because of the time consuming and my job at the post office, it would make it difficult for me to constantly bring in the car for such repairs so, they held on to the car to make repairs then I was told the water pump went and they had to repair it, and replace the stereo, the stereo system needs a map disc to operate, was given a small bluetooth speaker, air bag light went on bought it back and was charge to just look at it, will cost over ******* to repair, then charge system fault go on and they want to charge me to look at it. Nothing personal I want them to fix it cause I'm sure they were aware of this. I haven't driven it since would hate to break down.

      When the customer came in and looked at the 2009 Cadillac XLR we had just purchased it and it had not be through our reconditioning process yet. Customer looked at the car pointed out things he wanted fixed and we agreed to do so. We did our reconditioning that included oil change, air filter, cabin filter, wiper blades, detail and a multi point inspection. After the inspection was done we repair or replaced the following, 4 tire pressure sensors, passenger side fender liner, hood molding, tail lamp assembly, radio head unit, water pump and windshield washer pump. Once repairs were complete the customer took delivery of the car that was sold to him in AS-IS condition without warranty. The reason the radio was replaced is the touchscreen was not working. After replacement the touch screen works as designed. The car was purchased on12/14/2023 and on 03/27/2024 the customer came in saying the airbag light was on. The airbag light was not on at the time of diagnosis but it did have stored code of B0041 gave customer an estimate to repair he declined the work. Customer paid diag of $157.07. I explained to customer he did not have warranty and would have to pay for repairs and diag. ******** stated he should not have to pay because he bought the car from us. The car is 15 years old and was sold AS-IS, we will not work on the car for free. Customer has stated that the Bluetooth in the car will not work. I have personally researched if a 2009 XLR was Bluetooth capable and have found mixed results. I offer an aftermarket Bluetooth solution at our expense and he declined. The charge system fault warning we have not looked at, it was brought up to me in late May by the customer 5 months after purchase. He will only let us look at it if we do it for free. I reached out to let the customer know if the car sits and is not driven, the battery may need to be charged and this can be the reason for the charge system fault light to be on.
