      When I purchased my truck in 2016 I provided my personal information to receive a first responder discount. Yesterday I tried to open an account at **** to receive first responder discounts. The website told me that there was already an account created with my information. The email adress it was created with was an @kuhioautogroup email. Which means someone from the company fraudulently used my personal information to create an account so they could receive first responder discounts.

      After a review of our records there was no purchase made by ******* **** at Kuhio Motors **** Please close this case as it does not pertain to this business.

      There was a purchase made at a sister company, MIdpac Auto Center. The complainant states he provided his personal information so I do not understand how he can provide his personal information to a company and also state it was used fraudulently.

      We had purchases a 2013 Jeep wrangler on February 2023. It had multiple issues that made it unsafe to drive so we returned it to be fixed. It took them 2 months to fix it and we did not get back until April of 2023. We took the car in august 2023 for and oil change. We got the vehicle back and the following week the engine blew. We told them we no longer want the the car because we haven't had it 6 months and the engine has blown. They do not want to give us any other options

      I would like to clarify that the issue with the engine is unrelated to the oil change. The engine in your 2013 ************* was recently replaced by the Jeep dealer on island. When you're engine failure occurred we contacted Jeep and they will be replacing the engine under warranty. We will be more than happy to allow you to trade in the vehicle previous to the repair being complete. You will have the use of the alternate transportation we have already given you until you trade your Jeep in or the engine concern is resolved. I will have a member of our sales team reach out to discuss trade in options. Feel free to ask for me if you have any unresolved concerns.

      I gave Kuhio **** a total of $1600 as a deposit on a new truck order. When the new truck arrived, they would not give me a reasonable trade in offer and insisted on selling the truck 11% over MSRP. we could not come to agreement and they would not return my deposit of $1600. i offered numerous times to buy the truck for MSRP **** and they would not agree. they have NOT returned my deposit.

      The **** Reservation, Payment and Order Terms and conditions state:

      "Reservation Cancellation; Transfer; Assignment.

       You may cancel your Reservation at any time before you order your vehicle and request a refund from your Dealer.  The full Reservation Deposit should be credited back to your credit card within approximately 10 business days. Please note that all cancellations are final. You may not transfer or assign your Reservation or any other rights under these Terms and Conditions."

      Complainant did not cancel their reservation of $100 but instead chose to proceed with an online order which clearly stated Kuhio **** has an additional dealer markup of $9,995 over the ***** There was a $1500.00 deposit take when the online order was placed. Again referring to the T&C of the online order it is stated that:

      "Order Cancellation; Transfer; Assignment.
      You must contact your Dealer to cancel your Order and request a refund of your Order Deposit. If your Order is cancelled (by you or the Dealer), the Order Deposit will be refunded pursuant to the Dealers refund policy. Order Deposit refund policies vary by Dealer. Please ask your Dealer for their refund policy before you place your order request. You may not transfer or assign your Order or any other rights under the Terms and Conditions."

      We take only non refundable deposits for all special order vehicles whether ordered at the dealership or through the ecommerce platform. We are a small store and do not want the extra overhead of potentially slow moving inventory. This is a vehicle that would have never been ordered in the color or trim for our stock.

      I bought this car in 2017. It was a loaner car for the dealership. It only had **** miles on it. Since then I had had nothing but problems with the *** transmission. I took it in because it just randomly stopped after I took it in for an oil change. Then I found out about a defective *** on the transmission so Nissan went ahead and extended the warranty for the power train and the transmission. Every time I would take it in they would dentmy that there was any problem at all despite all the noises it was making due to the hard shifting and wear and tear on the clutch. They also refused to honor the manufacturers warranty by delaying and denying that anything was wrong with the car. Recently it started making really bad noises. This time I took it into another mechanic and he along with another mechanic verified it was a hard shift and the noise was coming from the belts pulling on the and causing strain on the transmission wearing it down. I took it in about a month ago and the service advisor was nice but the mechanic said there was nothing wrong but they charged me 180 dollars to diagnose it factory defect that's under warranty. I took it in a few weeks later telling them the noise was not going away and was only getting worse. This time I had the mechanic drive with me in the car to verify the noises. The serpentine belt was squealing bur he fixed that, yet the other noises remained and my gas consumption has gone down from 38 mpg to 30 mpg. When I took it into another mechanic he noticed a reading that the there was an intermittent misfiring on one of the spark plugs. After taking it back to Nissan and driving with the mechanic to verify that indeed the transmission was going bad, they erased the codes, and never gave me any paperwork to fill out. They claimed that the mechanic was unable to verify the noise. It's still there and other mechanics have verified a hard shift. Even though I have a factory defeat dealership refuses to fix it and blames me.

      Brought my truck in for a oil change because of a oil seal leak and they drove my truck 230 miles blew my engine rebuilt it gave it back to me without telling me they rebuilt it then my turbo blew up and they blew my engine up again while I was driving after they told me they fixed it I have had too scared for my life driving my vehicle after they touched it and they have had my vehicle since before December 2021 please help me

      Vehicle was repaired under manufacturer's warranty for several issues. Many parts delays caused vehicle to stay in our shop for a prolonged period of time. Final repair was to remove and replace entire long block engine. Vehicle is no longer in our shop. Customer has 4x4 issue which is unrelated to the engine repair. Kuhio has provided customer with a 4 door 4 wheel drive truck as alternate transportation since January and offered to cover 4x4 repair with same alternate transportation even though vehicle is not being repaired at our shop.

      I purchased my car brand new in May of 2021. Since then i have brought the car back over a dozen times to get sensors fixed that no on could figure out why it was going off. On December 27, 2021 i had once again brought my car back to get a sensor fixed. Nothing in my error but the dealership told me they had no loaners and if i wanted one i would have to pay. I had to complain to my salesman in order to get a car for the day which turned into an overnight rental. Once i got my car back, there was a beer bottle left inside under driver seat. I knew it wasn't my rubbish because my car just got detailed the week before. I brought it up to management and was told that someone would contact me. Did not hear from anyone. Even texted my sales guy Rusty and got no response. Finally had what I'm hoping is my last appointment for the sensor that they had to order a part for on 1/17/2022 and still have not heard from anyone at the dealership. I mentioned it to the service lady ***** and she said she would follow up. Up until this complaint i have not heard back from anyone at Kuhio Auto group in regards to there employees leaving rubbish in my car or the many unnecessary attempts to get 2 different sensors fixed
