My Father, *********************, was a tenant at Utica Harmony Ridge. He started there in skilled nursing and moved to their long-term care unit. When he moved to the long-term care unit he moved off of ******** and became self-pay. We were billed for, and paid, for the time he was in the long-term care unit in April 2023 (partial month) and all of May 2023. In early May 2023 my Father was taken to the hospital. We decided at that time to not transfer him back to Harmony Utica Ridge, but to find a nursing home that had better service. Since that time, I have contacted them multiple times. I was told a refund was in process. We have never received a refund. Lately, they have refused to return any messages asking for an update. We recently called the Administrator of the Home and was put in contact with their **************** We were once again promised a refund, and told it would be sent overnight. We still have not received a refund. We are requesting a refund, and interest for the time they have held my Father's money. I am his power of attorney, and this form is attached.Business response

Harmony Utica Ridge Administrator made aware of issue with refund 7/21/23 and check was cut on 7/27/23. Family was never told this would be overnighted, but that they should receive it within the week. Case closed 7/28/23, same day of complaint call.
