On March 24, 2022 I was a victim of identity theft. I received alerts on my Credit Karma and Experian accounts that several hard inquiries were made on my account. One was from Hills Bank and Trust. After disputing these inquiries with the credit bureaus/ or company's, I was able to have the inquiries removed except the inquiry from this establishment. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of ********************* *************) on several occasions that works at this organization. He assured me that he spoke with someone in the fraud department and agreed to have my hard inquiry removed within a month. Almost three months later and it's still there.Business response

On 6/22/21 we received notice ******** and began to investigate. On 3/28/22, we requested Equifax change the inquiry and we received a response that it was completed. After learning about your complaint, we submitted another request with Equifax. Equifax has notified us the inquiry has been changed to a soft credit pull. We contacted the customer and stated the inquiry has been changed to a soft pull.
