I just had my windows replaced by Iowa Lumber & Construction.salesman ****, seemed very honest and sincere, I had 6 different quotes, but always went back to his proposal.The job started and for my size project,, it was estimated 2 days maybe a little more.8 windows, double hung and one entry door, at the rear door, 32".Things did not go well, by day 12 I had reached my ***** end, as it is very disruptive but necassarry to get the job completed. Understand the quality of the work, and their installers was what motivated me to work through this, their workmanship was that good. Respectdul, cleaned job site daily.I spoke with the owner and she addressed all of the concerns, without question and backed the workmanship and the product.infact I had put these windows in myself 25 years ago with 4 cases of polyurethane, that stood the test of time apparently, each one had to be surgically removed, as to not creat more damage on the interior, that was not known until the windows were actually opened up.This added a tremendous amout of time to the project, never once did she imply or suggest I compensate for the extra labor.I was a contractor for many years and, what more can you ask for, they made my home look so much more attractive and added value. I would recommend them.

When talking to salesman, I stated "DO NOT WANT ******* TYPE WORKERS". Salesman said workers professionals and do a good job. Set up work beginning Nov 2022, they started work 3-21-22, with only hours notice they were starting..but no instructions of how owner was to prepare windows and doors for work they were starting. HANDYMAN, was 1 worker to instal 12 windows and front and rear entry and storm doors. Damage to property, personal effects, no show for work, no communication, numerous people on property who are not employed by Iowa Lumber, (girlfriends and friends ). Workers in middle of work literally dropped tools and product then left property without notice, gone 1-4 hours, leaving opening of windows with no window, doors open, installed windows open, material, discarded debris, and product laying in all flower beds, all over patios in front and back..in front of doors making a serious fall/injury hazard. They brought in very toxic cleaner inside house causing serious breathing issues with owner and 2 dogs. 10 days, windows installed, but not all adjusted properly, broken main frame on one window not repaired, 2 inside doors installed...gouges in expensive entry door, gaps where not properly installed, hardware done wrong (difficult to open door with no security for 5 days, floor jam "spongy"..not firm, deadbolt hole not chiseled out and 2 pieces metal applied causing gap in closure, back storm lopsided and now warped, not fitting tight, front storm put on backwards creating major fall/injury risk, damage door..had to be returned. The list is much longer...10 days now and WORK NOT COMPLETE. No knowledge when they will return. I WILL NOT call and speak to ********************* again as she has no respect to customers, argues, yells, is demeaning, and cannot focus to problem resolution. Workers no clean up well after numerous request to "clean up, due to 2 dogs and my health concerns. Pup choked, caulk in mouth(2 times), we all stepped on nails, tools, product
