I own 2 IBR-900 routers that have lapsed their license period at this time. They have stopped working and are dead, as verified by Cradlepoint tech support. I was told that if I relicensed them they would be covered again and replaced. I contacted tech support again that day for help and was set to finish the next day. I chatted the following day from the initial conversations and was told that wasn't true and the only option was to go purchase 2 more $1200 routers. They wouldn't cover the items anymore because the licensing had lapsed. Nothing to do with the actual units, but the software license had lapsed so there was no coverage for the units anymore. I've never seen company turn around so fast to avoid helping a customer. Look for an alternative if you need mobile service, Cradlepoint will sell you the equipment, but it will fail quickly and there's not much chance they'll help.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 2nd hand IBR600C - and I am unable to license and or use this device. ********************** manages a Licensing Portal that they own. Devices are registered to consumers/companies within this portal. Cradlepoint is unable/unwilling to clear the registration of the unit I legally purchased and puts the onus on the original purchaser. CradlePoint should be able to better contact the false owner of record in order to clear this units availability. Cradlepoint could also clear this registration so the device can be licensed for use by a second hand purchaser.
