I used to work here and as soon as I was hired I was told there was no training. The owner doesnt manage her employees and lets them run rampant. Ive seen many things that are against the Animal Protection Act, OSHA, and many other things. My cat that I rescued from her was forgotten about in a cage, she didnt even know she had him in her possession, he was skin and bones. She trapped him as a stray while trying to find peoples cats she lost. She has very dangerous gates that dogs and my self have been cut by. She also had a case of antibiotics in her fridge and would give it illegally to owner pets without their knowledge when she would have kennel cough or they have infections. Also I called the police department to be transferred to make a report or animal safety and was told they have a case they have been reporting on.

This is obviously a case of a disgruntled previous employee. I work along side of a customer that traps feral cats and has them spayed and or neutered and returns them.  Which was why the cat was probably skin and bones although she does feed the feral cats in the area around our business. We do not have antibiotics in our fridge. She may have mistaken it for the bordetella and distemper that we sell to the customer to administer if they are not up to date on their vaccines, which is required. The animal control are welcome to come and inspect at any time which they do for our licensing and we have passed for 15 years. Sometimes the dogs will chew on a gate which would make it sharp if that is what she is talking about and they are repaired when that happens. We do have a training program both on video and an online program. I would be happy to answer any other questions. Thank you.
