I recently opened an account with "THE ********************** PROS" I wish I would have done my research A LOT sooner. THEY ARE RUNNING SCAMS WITH "NATIONAL CREDIT DIRECT". I never heard from anyone again after I purchased the highest package that they had available on their website.NCDS has the same foreign guy answering the phone every single time you call. He is VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They tell you to make multiple payments on something a whole month before you receive it. I do not trust either company. THEY ARE WORKING TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything on their website is 3X's the original price. I already had a good credit score but, I was ******* my process and wanted it to get higher in the next couple months. These TWO companies are not worth it. Work on you credit yourself!!!!!!!!!Business response

NCD Financial was surprised to receive this complaint. Once this customer sent an email stating that she found an Agent rude, our Customer Advocate contacted her and reviewed all of our policies and procedures, and the customer expressed her desire to work with us.
NCD Financial self finances without hard credit checks, so we require all Customers to validate their Identity, validate that they are authorized to use payment method and return a Purchase Confirmation that is mailed to the billing address as an added protection against fraud.
NCD Financial is upfront about its pricing and we do NOT: Charge Interest, Shipping, or late payments. For products over a certain amount, NCD Financial offers 90 day pricing that customers *** take advantage of by paying that amount 90 days AFTER receiving their product. NCD Financial also offers Reward Points for every dollar spent that *** be redeemed for products.
NCD Financial received an email this morning to Deactivate the account, which we did. NCD Financial believes that we did outreach to this customer to hear her issues and address them. We wish this customer all the best.

During the early Summer of 2020 I purchased a product from NCD and promptly paid it off with day's owing not a single dime. (Evidence in uploaded file) My Experian Credit report is now showing a NCD 180 day's late as of March 2023 (3 years later) without a missed payment. I need this incorrect information corrected immediately as it's false information on my credit report.Business response

NCD Financial wishes that our customer had contacted ** to allow us to review prior to filing complaint.
NCD Financial does confirm that there is an error on his Experian report and we will rectify this issue with Experian and the report will be updated within 5 days.
Again, all this customer had to do was contact ** and we could have rectified this issue directly with no issues whatsoever.

In November of 2022 I started financing a video camera from NCD Financial at which time they started taking $29.99 out of my bank account. In January my debit card was hacked so they sent me notice that my payment was declined. My card number being charged is their excuse for why I haven't received the rest of my money. They claim it's all my fault. I informed them that they have known about it since February 3, 2023. I have no control over my debit card getting hacked. I requested that my Account be cancelled and my money be refunded around April 4, 2023. They only refunded me 3 out of 6 payments.Business response

NCD Financial self finances over 17K products from our online catalog without hard credit checks. Because NCD Financial reports on credit, NCD Financial FULLY and COMPLETELY discloses UPFRONT at the time an Application is made that: 1) Customers MUST validate their Identity, either online by taking our Q&A that utilizes information specific to the applicant from public records, or by uploading appropriate documents and 2) Customers MUST confirm the payment method they are using by uploading a copy of the card being used that shows ONLY the last 4 digits of the card and their name.
On 11/1/2022 **************** Activated her Account with NCD Financial and was made aware that we needed to validate Identity and payment method prior to shipping.
On 2/3/2023, **************** responded to an email that her payment was returned by her banking institution, **************** updated her payment information online.
As **************** responded to this email, it must be assumed that she received all correspondences regarding the need to validate Identity and payment method prior to shipping.
Please note that NCD Financial also mailed a letter to Ms.******* billing address that we needed her to validate her Identity and payment method.
On 2/3/2023, **************** validated her Identity online by taking our Online Q&A. NCD Financial notified **************** that we needed her to validate her payment method, as she had changed the card previously used. (Again,**************** never validated the previous bank card she used).
On 4/5/2023 **************** sent a copy of the bank card she updated on 2/3/2023. NCD Financial notified **************** that we were pleased to ship her product, but she requested a refund.
NCD Financial made a good faith effort to refund the payments made, minus the $15 returned payment fee. **************** received five (5) separate emails for each specific transaction that the payments were being refunded to the card(s)used.
When **************** informed us she only received 3 payments refunded, NCD Financial checked and confirmed that the payments made on her previous card were not accepted as refunds by her banking institution.
NCD Financial is confident that the Bureau understands and appreciates that payments are refunded as individual transactions. It is COMMON practice at all major retailers, and NCD Financial is no exception, that if payments cannot be refunded on the card used, then store credit is issued. Major Retailers will only make refunds with receipts back to the card used and if the customer does not have the card or if it is no longer active, they will issue a merchandise credit.
NCD Financial is also confident that the Bureau understands and appreciates that consumers make purchases from credit cards issued by banks, from debit cards associated with checking accounts and now payments are made on Pre-Paid, Pre-Loaded cards, APPs and virtual cards, and that when good faith efforts are made to refund payments to these accounts are made and are not successful that this is an issue for the card holder and the issuer of the card. That said, NCD Financial confirmed that the credit on her account would be available in the form of store credit and we sent pictures for items that they could be redeemed for including an Amazon Echo and jewelry.
NCD Financial has been responsive to each and every form of communication by ***************** Despite our Refund policy being provided upfront, we made a good faith to refund her payments. The fact that they did not clear is out of our control. NCD Financial fully expected this complaint as **************** told us via the phone and in emails of her intent. Through this response, NCD Financial reassures the Bureau that we are always responsive to our customers and that we are a fully compliant company that provides proper disclosure for all policies.
NCD Financial is pleased to serve a population often referred to as the Credit Invisible. We finance products without hard credit checks and we assume considerable risk in serving this population in a highly regulated environment in the form of customer default on payments and chargebacks. Companies must demonstrate to Processors that they are actively engaged in mitigating chargebacks. Again, we fully disclose our refund policies.
NCD Financial is pleased to confirm to *************, via the Bureau, that she has credit and that she may apply this credit to any applicable product from our comprehensive catalog since our good faith effort to refund payments to the card used was denied by her banking institution. NCD Financial waits to hear from **************** and considers this matter Resolved.Initial Complaint

NCD has violated just about every business practice dealing with it's customers. They have lied, cheated and swindled everyone of us that paid them. This company in under the shield of some financial operation out of **** who has the muscle to continuously keep them reporting on Experian credit bureau. It looks like I'm not the only one complaining. Everything was good in the beginning and NCD was actually trying to help people with their credit growth. However, The more money they made, small things started happening wrong reporting, update glitches and terrible customer service. The Fair ********************** Reporting Act requires reporting agencies to delete inaccurate or incomplete information from our credit report. I want you and your history off my credit report. You promised me a number of times that you would fix all of the errors on your end and you never ever did.Business response

NCD Financial is a fully compliant company that is subject to regulations and audits by all 50 states, ************************ and the ******************* NCD Financial self-finances without hard credit checks. We are fully compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, FCRA, 15 U.S.C.1681s-2, and the associated regulations, known as the Furnisher Rule, at 16 C.F.R. 660. Despite unsubstantiated claims made by **************, NCD Financial is reporting this Closed Account Accurately.
Please know that NCD Financial sends both emails and text messages whenever a payment is missed. We also report for the previous month to allow a customer 30 days to make up a missed payment before reporting late. We also make ourselves available to assist with payment dates and amounts to work with customers who are facing challenges. To further address your issue, NCD Financial sends Monthly Statements. NCD Financial is attaching the full payment history for this customer to show that out of 25 authorized monthly payments set up by the customer to pay for merchandise received, only 14 cleared and 11 were returned by his bank as Unpaid.
On 9/27/2023 Mr. ***** called to Settle his account. NCD Financial removed the missed payment fees for ALL returned payments as a courtesy. ************** did not wish to bring his account Current, he wanted to Settle the Account and he wanted to settle the account for less than the balance owed. ************** made a payment to Settle and NCD Financial credited the balance. ************** was fully informed that the Account would be reported as Settled, and NCD Financial accepted claims pursuant to the CARES Act and had late payments removed.
What ************** has been asking NCD Financial to do: namely, remove the Account from his Report as well as show that he paid the Full Amount of the balance, instead of showing that the account was *******, are in fact, Illegal. When ************** opened an account, and received Financing, which he does NOT dispute, then NCD Financial must report accurately and the account, per law, is reported for 7 years. Accounts can only be removed from reporting due to Fraud, which ************** does not claim.
NCD Financial regrets the disparaging comments ************** has made against our company as they are unfounded and are not supported by the facts. NCD Financial considers this issue Resolved.

NCD Financial self-finances products without hard credit checks and allows its customers to make payments that fit their budget needs. NCD Financial does NOT charge interest or late fees. We also offer a 90 day price for products if this amount is paid 90 days from the date the product was received.
This customer ordered and received an Apple Ipad with 128 GB of memory on March 3, 2022. Five months after receiving the Ipad, on 8/3/2022, the Customer sent the Ipad to our offices. NCD Financial has a generous return policy of 30 days (we pay for returned products) but the product must be in its original packaging with all original components. The customer returned the Ipad not only used without its original packaging but the Ipad was password protected.
The customer had 30 days to return the product, but after 5 months we are unable to accept a used Ipad without its packaging and components, ie, charger, headphones, etc. If there was an issue with the Ipad it remains under warranty with Apple. NCD Financial returned the Ipad to the customer who was also informed that NCD would settle the account for our 90 day price. We stand by our offer and look forward to resolving this issue with our customer.

This company doesn't seem to follow its own rules. They have charged me $15.00 return fees because they were tryin to take the payment out around the closing date which is around the 24Th or 25th of each month instead of the due date which is around the 30th of the following month They reported me 30 days late for ***** and May. How can i be 30 days late for ***** 2022 and May,2022, This is incorrect my due dates on these statements specifically states that it is due between the 30th and the 31st of the next month .This is tremendously hurting my credit I will be making a report with the **** and the attorney general office in that state where they are located as well because they are refusing to correct my credit report.Business response

Here is a copy of your payment history from the time that payments were returned. If a payment was not made up within 30 days, then it is reported late. NCD Financial must report accurately and we have received no information from you regarding missed payments that would allow us to modify our report.
Please note for example that while you made up the payment for 2/24/2022, at that point you were 30 days late for the payment that was returned 1/24/2022. As you know, NCD Financial sends texts and emails each time a payment was returned WITH a link to resubmit the payment. We also report on transactions for the previous month to allow customers time to make up missed payments. We also send Monthly Statements.
We are pleased to further discuss this issue with you, ************

This payment history shows that that customer did not make up her missed payments for January 2022 or March 2022. Our Customers choose their payment dates, and they have 30 days to make up the payment from the date it was missed. However, as evidenced above, **************** did not make up the payments even within a 60 day period. **************** received this information prior to filing her complaint with the Bureau.
NCD Financials Customer Advocate removed all missed payment fees from this account. Further, at the time that **************** made her Application for a line of credit, she selected monthly member benefits. The Customer Advocate removed the monthly benefits and applied the amount to the balance for her product thus bringing **************** account Current without her making any additional payment.
**************** Account is now Current, and all missed payments fees have been removed from her account. NCD Financial confirms that we are reporting accurately and considers this issue resolved.
