Purchased my 2021 Jeep Compass on March 10, 2023 after needing to trade in my old vehicle. They added $2000 onto the payment of the 2021 Jeep Compass after trading in my old vehicle for it. Initially said that the Jeep was about $23,000-25,000. I only have GAP coverage and no other warranty on the vehicle. My monthly payment is about $573 a month. I have tried to take this vehicle into other dealerships to trade it in to lower my monthly payment but I have been quoted $17,000-18,000 from three other dealerships and they said the negative equity and the amount the car was purchased for was something theyve never seen before. I am currently stuck with this vehicle as a single mother who is active duty military. The payments are too high and has lowered my credit score. I have contacted the dealership regarding the fact that they severely overcharged me but I have not heard back from them.Business response

Unfortunately, I can find no record of this transaction at Mountain Home Chevrolet. Is it possible that the vehicle was purchased at another location?
