They don't want to replace my sensors they said its expired, but I use them before they expired they malfunction so I tried saving them and get them replace one time. This is the first time hearing this issue and this is the 3rd time doing it and they are able to replace them on those 1st and 2nd. This is not acceptable, consumers at least need to know this.Review from Larissa C

My libre 3 sensor requires low sugar readings to sound alarms. The sensor reads my sugar incorrectly and now these stupid alarms go off every 5 to 10 minutes at 1am or at work....ripped out the sensor and it still beeps constantly for bad readings. You can only stop this by deleting the app. Lost a lot of sleep and got into trouble at work These sensors and the app are horrific. Looking for something else.Review from Maura G

Freestyle Libre 3 Sensor gave high readings and they gas lit me telling me it wasn’t “that high” and I should expect within 20-40 points different. For someone with diabetes, that could change my course of treatment with unnecessary insulin. It is reckless to downplay the impact of inaccurately high numbers. All this after they had a KNOWN issue of sensors providing high numbers. I have gestational diabetes and will be thrilled to be done with them after my baby comes.Review from James B

Libre 3 sensor: **************** refuses to support the product. I called in for support on a Sensor Error on my Libre 3 device. They refused to issue a replacement sensor despite me providing all of the necessary information (error codes, timestamps, etc.). I've called in for support/replacement previously but was told by customer service that they are not supporting my profile. Avoid this company at all costs. Their sensors often do not work and if you call for support, they may turn you away and force you to use their competitor (Dexcom), which I am now going to do. Save yourself the trouble and go with Dexcom to begin with.Review from JBrent R

My father fell ill in mid April of 2024. The results of the infectious and disease processes has left his brain in an inflamed state. My dad did receive an MRI for which Abbott Laboratories must be present to monitor his pacemaker. Since that MRI my fathers condition has worsened and an additional MRI is required to formulate a plan of care moving forward. Initially we were told that my dad would have an MRI on Friday May 3rd. Unfortunately, my father was not able to have that MRI due to Abbott Labs representatives not being available. Next we were told that dads MRI would be Monday May 6th. No reps available. Finally we had a scheduled MRI at 0845 Tuesday May 7th. Again our Abbott rep did not show. This has now caused a 4 day delay of care for my father. The medical team needs this information to advise our family on how to proceed. This has also caused undue stress to our family and potentially delayed life saving treatments. I am ashamed of Abbott for making my dads healthcare about business. We deserve more compassion, respect, and professional care than we received. Shame on you Abbott. Perhaps you should better support your devices, even if it is a weekend. In point of fact, the device was implanted July 5, 2020. A Sunday! I expect more.Review from Carrie H

I would leave zero stars if I could. My husband uses the freestyle libre 2 and has had sensors fall off multiple times. He has called them to get a replacement about 6 times. The first time they asked him questions so they could send a replacement. Each time he called back, they state that they have no record of his profile at all and have to start from scratch. He has been without a sensor for over 2 weeks. How can he call 6 TIMES and they have no record of him ever calling. They manufacture diabetic supplies, but have absolutely no regard for their customers that use these devices to save their lives. The complete lack of empathy about peoples medical care is absolutely astounding and to be honest disgusting and disappointing.Review from Kerry G

Terrible company!! Bought their at home Covid tests, control line was not even a quarter filled. Test line said positive. So, I called them. Was told just assume its positive. It was Easter break.. had a college tour for my son, had to cancel come to find out, the test was wrong. After canceling Tours, Easter and a birthday, it was sad. I bought 2 other brands from Amazon and CVS and they were ALL negative. It was allergies. When I I called this company, they wouldn't even give me their legal department address. RED FLAG. Run from any Abbott products. Seriously!!Review from Brent P

PET OWNERS BEWARE - Abbott does not warranty products used on pets. Like others, Libre 2 failed several times for different reasons on the dog, mainly due to the terrible app, and when I called Abbott about the issue, I was told there was nothing they could do since it was on a pet. So they knowingly sell a product they do not warranty to consumers with no communication in advance and this is a product that could mean life or death for the user! That is insane and should be illegal if it isn't. Seems like they are knowingly negligent and make a lot of money from a product that has no warranty without putting any effort forth to make that clear.. fraudulent maybe? Idk but since there is no available other option, they have a monopoly so there is nothing anyone can do. This has resulted in a terrible and declining product without any support for many of its users. For shame, Abbott, for shame.Review from Myroslava P

I am a Type 1 Diabetic, heavily reliant on continuous glucose monitoring for my daily health management. The Freestyle Libre 2, a device I hoped would be a reliable companion in this journey, has unfortunately fallen short of my expectations, not just in terms of product durability but also in customer support. I have encountered a critical issue with two separate Freestyle Libre 2 sensors, both of which unexpectedly fell apart. This malfunction not only caused inconvenience but also posed a significant health risk given my condition. Expecting a prompt and effective response, I reached out to the customer support team. After providing them with the necessary photographic evidence of the defective products, I was promised a follow-up "tomorrow". This promise, however, remained unfulfilled, leaving me in a precarious health situation without a working sensor. This experience has been deeply disappointing. The lack of timely and effective support from the customer care team exacerbates the problem caused by the defective product. For a medical device that is crucial for managing a serious health condition like Type 1 Diabetes, such lapses in reliability and support are unacceptable. I urge the manufacturer to address these quality and customer service issues promptly. Moreover, I advise potential customers to consider these serious reliability and support issues when making their decision about the Freestyle Libre 2.
