On 10.24.24 I walked into Biolife plasma after not donating for over 2 years. The regular procedure at all plasma center according to whats been to told to me by the employees in the profession is that upon returning you see a nurse and then donate. I walked in scanned my finger on their system and which would be my pointer finger right hand and a Caucasian women face and Identify popped up. I requested the information and was denied. Thats identity theft and was then denied being able to donate due to a lie I was told by the employee about levels being off. They are practicing fraudulent procedures and also stealing people identification. I will contact the authorities next.

I was asked to wait 10 minutes to retest blood pressure on 2 different occasions, on the first I was new so I waited 30+ minutes before approaching the desk and asking to return to the line although I was one of the few with an appointment on time, when I asked the girl who asked me to wait was no longer there in the office and hadnt set a timer so the employee who I spoke with raised her voice and told me you go sit until we tell you to get up I then explained the situation to which she called me a liar and repeated her first statement then a girl next to her leaned over and told her I was right to which she got uncomfortable and then told me red faced to go sit again until they get me, I was already over an hour beyond my appointment and hadnt even passed the initial vital check and had other responsibilities to attend to so I had to leave. Then again today I go in and have to wait the 10 minutes, I notify the woman doing my vitals and return to the seat and proceed to call my wife and start a timer as Ive been through this before. After 12 minutes I asked the woman if I could get in line to which she looked at her timer, paused and responded no you have. 5 seconds left and I responded no I set a timer and called my wife its been 12 to which she raised her voice and said no you didnt go sit until I come get you because I didnt start it until you got back from the bathroom to which I responded no i didnt call or start my timer until I returned and had been seated at least ***** seconds of scrolling so it would actually be a little longer than I said and also I was why has your timer not gone off you said 5 seconds its been much longer and it never alerted I then sat down and waited another 3 minutes on the phone with my wife listening. She then told me its still to high you cant donate today to which I responded its because you called me a liar in front of at least 20 people and Im very uncomfortable and anxious to which she blamed me.

I have donated Plasma for years to different organizations. At this location (BioLife) there is a Tech who works at front who has carelessly provided services on checkin to include continuously bruising my finger(pricks the vein directly when others dont do that) disrespected me, and has been rude, (handling items in a careless manner). On one incident where this tech wasnt at work( her co-workers stated that she gets numerous complaints about being rough). I can identify those individuals as they are currently employed. I have not been to donate for several weeks due to this. Today (10/22/24)she completed my check in and referred me to a nurse. My appointment was at 6:35 AM. A nurse didnt come out until almost 7:15 AM. The nurse ignored me completely and spoke to the two new doners next to me and was walking away when I had to ask the nurse about an update. The nurse then told me in a rude manner that they were new donors. I told her thank you, have a good day, and proceeded to leave due to the constant disrespect that I receive when I try to donate. As I was leaving, the Nurse then rudely says loudly, I was literally printing labels. I informed her to have a good day and left. To me, it was inappropriate that the nurse ignored me the first time, only to be confrontational when I simply asked a question after she spoke to two individuals that arrived after. Im not sure why these events occur, but I have never said anything due to the fear of being deferred for being insubordinate. I would like to simply come and donate without having to worry about being bruised by someone being extremely rough, and then worry about being chastised for having a question. Additionally, blood draw has always been taken right before the donation, and I cannot recall being informed of a new process. Clarification would be nice, instead of being talked at, I simply would like a solution and to donate free of inappropriate conduct. Regards,****** ******, MBA, MSHRM, SHRM-CP

Biolife *****************************************. On 10/8/2024 a donor in front of me was obstructing the donation line that prevented the people behind him from moving forward. I was the only one who felt comfortable enough to do so and he made patronizing comments after I did. He obstructed the movement of the line a second time. I reported this to the staff. On my next visit on 10/12/2024 i found my account on hold and a supervisor named ***** confronted me and said that a complaint was made about me after I had made my own report. In a rude and demeaning manner, she accused me of making racist comments about the man I made the report about. She indicated that I would not be able to donate anymore if I didn't accept the accusation she was giving me. When I asked her if she had reviewed video evidence, she said that they don't do that. I have never heard of a reputable place accusing people of serious accusations that are hearsay without reviewing the proper video evidence that is available to them. One important point I noticed is that the man I made the report about had an unusual amount of affection lavished on him by some of the staff, including our phlebotomist. I suspect there never was an actual complaint. It seems the staff involved knew him, which leads me to believe that there was no actual complaint made and that it was made up by the staff who seemed to know him. The supervisor's unwillingness to even question the accusation which was hearsay, or their unwillingness to even hear me defending myself also adds to this suspicion. I donate forty percent of my income to people from non white cultures in three countries. My donations at ********, contribute to that fund. It is ironic that accusations, such as this could be made towards me. Several long term ******** employees know this is not in my character. The employees involved in my complaint do not know me or my reasons for coming to Biolife. This incident shook me to my core.

I first went into BioLife on Sunday October 5th I was asked if I had ever been to another plasma center I was fully open and told them yes I had been to CSL plasma and I went a few days prior. my donation went smoothly and as I was getting ready to leave I asked what was the next day available for me to come in the staff told me on Tuesday the 8th I was able to ********* I was unable to make it in Tuesday ! returned on Wednesday where they informed me l was "just a day too early, come back in tomorrow". Once again I drove back on Thursday when I was told to return then being informed I had two "deferrals and are no longer able to donate". I had asked if there was any way to appeal it or talk to anybody and they told me no but sorry for the inconvenience. The following day I called to ask if I could speak to a manager because I was lost on how I can no longer donate when all I did was come in on the dates I was told to, I understand that people try to donate a bunch of different places but I was following what l was told by their staff. I do not understand why l got the deferrals for their mistakes, making me no longer able to donate. They told me the manager was to busy at the moment I could leave a note and should get a call back soon. I never got the call back so I was recommended to file something with the BBB.

Today, Saturday, October 12, 2024, I had a 9:35a.m. appointment. This is my second time being sticked wrong by a BioLife Plasma phlebotomists employee. Now I'm being deferred from giving plasma at BioLife Plasma Center. All because your phlebotomists aren't properly trained. So, as a plasma donor, I have to suffer because of your untrained phlebotomists. I was informed that after today, I wouldn't be able to donate plasma again until December 7, 2024. This is not right, and I don't agree with this. I will also be contacting the *****************************'s *****************************. This phlebotomists needs to be fired she's the reason why I got deferred on today while donating plasma at the ************************************** location. She came over to me when the plasma machine stopped and started messing with the 16-gauge needle that was in my arm, and when she moved the needle, I started bleeding badly.I did talk with Ms. ****** who informed me she was the "Center Manager" but of course she didn't do anything regarding this.I've attached a picture of the phlebotomist who caused all of this.

September 29th went to donate. Was verbally abused by Beca when I needed to use the restroom and raised my hand. I had to use restroom badly and was told to put my hand down cause she is doing something. Complained to manager after started peeing my pants and ran to restroom. Mgr rolled eyes and said sorry ill talk to her...he said in sarcastic tone. I told him never mind and don't talk to her.. and I didn't do a thing but raise hand to use restroom. Next thing I know I'm deferred from donating plasma and can not get a manager to get back to me or answer 5 different emails. I want off the deferral list. I did not yell scream snap clap cuss ..I raised my hand to go to restroom after waiting as long as I could and I'm verbally assaulted by BECA. Biolife is quite negligent in taking my ability to donate plasma.

I was going to donate at biolife and the manager told me I needed to come back the next day because I came in a day too early. So I came back the next day, the day I was TOLD to come by the MANAGEMENT staff. So I was following orders. Come to find out the manager gave me wrong information and that day was also too early and I got permanently banned from biolife. So I can't donate there anymore... I'm trying to see if I can get off that list. I would like to donate and it's not even all my fault that I got deferred. I would understand if it's 100% my fault but it was the management fault for giving me misinformation.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Treatment at BioLife Plasma Services To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my treatment at BioLife Plasma Services in *********************, **, located at *************************************************, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at approximately 8:30 AM. As a dedicated donor who has been with BioLife for several years, I travel 20 miles to donate, and I have never experienced such poor treatment.During my visit, I was deferred for the day after coughing three times while my vitals were being checked. I answered all health-related questions honestly and accurately, indicating that I felt well and healthy. While I was waiting to speak with a manager, I noticed multiple individuals around me who were also coughing and sneezing, yet they were not deferred.According to multiple medical sources, a cough without accompanying symptoms may not indicate an illness and can result from factors such as clearing ones throat, habitual behavior, or air quality issues. I was surprised that the nurse did not conduct any additional assessments and was rude and dismissive in her manner when informing me of my deferral.I believe this situation warrants attention and would appreciate it if you could address this matter with the staff involved, particularly the nurse who deferred me. I value the donation process and hope to continue my contributions without further incidents.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.Sincerely,*** ********** ************
