BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a Shed from Suncast. The shed's corners came apart. Suncast only wants to reimbuse me for 2/3 of the shed price after 3 years - pro-rated(or send 4 new corners. Meaning I have to disassemble the shed, replacing sheds bad corners and reassemble it(OLD and New Parts), which will not cover any additional parts that *** need replacing after disassembly). This Means the shed will be worth $0 after 10 years(10 year warranty). I am seeking a full refund. It's obvious the shed was made with defective parts. I was 65 when I bought the shed. I am 68 now and I am not in great health. Plus I will have to unload this defective shed, move the items to storage, replace defective parts, bring my items back and put them in the shed. Future customers should be aware of this shed. I don't think this shed was manufactured for southern *** climates. I should have checked here before buying. I regret this now. Made in the *** and Commitment to Quality? No! BBB should re-evaluate the A+ Rating. I'm left with no help, no shed and no way to buy a shed of equal price. No one helps old people. Inferior product quality. Company will find excuses for poor workmanship in order to not fulfill their warranty promises, suggesting that they do not stand behind their product. Lots of lip service that they take pride in the goods they offer and that they empathize with the consumer for a lackluster product, but it's all for naught. 3 Year warranty? Just try using it.I have a 10 month hose reel that started leaking. 3 year warranty; No worries. Right? Wrong!They responded to my 1st email with a video on how to install the broken piece. Then I emailed again; and then called. I sent 3 pictures and the receipt at their multiple requests. The reps (3 different ones) immediately tried to talk me out of it. Then said that it was "consequential" damage and that was not covered. What? Who made the plastic components that broke? When I threatened to file a complaint with BBB and the state attorney general, I was told that as a "one time courtesy" they would send the part. One time courtesy for a warrantied part? They need to review the ********* **** Act (warranty law designed to prevent this type of situation). Be ready for major combat if you have a major item like a shed. Next, the part came only to find that they misdiagnosed the problem and that I needed yet another part but that would cost me $7. I said no and threatened to call ********** and Lowes to complain about one of their vendors not standing behind their warranty. Accordingly the next day I received an email that said they have made an exception and will send the second part. I asked to speak to a manager but no one ever called. Exasperated I refused that "courtesy" part.Know that the reps are trained to avoid warranty claims and they are not happy employees ******* Suncast employee reviews). Moreover, this unit is only 10 months old. And all of this for a $7 part? And what about the quality? Albeit it's all plastic, it surely should last for more than 1 season.I will throw the defective unit away and purchase a different brand. I intend to reach out to executive escalation where I bought it to advise them of how Suncast administers their 3 year warranty. I bougth this shed around 3 years ago, on November 2019 and after a while the front panels started to crack and it started to fall apart. It was supposed to be covered by a 10 year warranty but when I contacted the company they said they won't accept the claim because I didn't build a proper concrete foundation even when I placed my shed on a flat and even tile surface. I don't think that would have made any difference and I'm pretty sure they also know that. They don't care about their customers and they will do whatever it takes to deny your claim. By the other reviews here I see that I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm really dissapointed with this company, so I do not recommend it at all.Review from Joe G

**************** is extremely disrespectful. I bought a storage bin for $140. It was extremely difficult to put together. ********* was cracked. I heard most people experience this. There was a little wind one day and the storage box collapsed for the 5th time. Clearly it was defective. **************** said they will not honed the warrenty and basically told me to stop calling and go buy a new one. Never do business with this sham of a business. TERRIBLE products - storage bin failed after one season, and warranty/customer service does nothing, even though I provided photos and supportive backup of the issue. Company doesn't back its products. RUN from Suncast - don't waste your money on anything they make. I'd give 0 stars if I could.Review from katie s

Our warranty only applies to defects that cause a failure in the form, fit, or function of the product. The warranty excludes ordinary wear and tear, natural aging, discoloration, weathering, sunlight fading, rust, staining caused by mold, mildew, tree sap, damage resulting from wildlife or household pets, and damage resulting from third party products are also excluded.Review from Franko L

Please check all reviews and complaints and you will see a pattern - Suncast goes out of their way to deny claim to so called 10 year warranty. 1 of 4 roof panel issue is clearly a manufacturing batch defect. Suncast denies claims because discoloration is not covered. Discoloration of all 4 panels would make sense, not 1. Please have them remove their misleading warranty, it is a type of bait-switch sales techniqueReview from John M

I had to purchase a new lid and locks for my composter. When I called their number I was quickly informed how to order a new lid. I explained to them what was wrong and wasn't working and it wasn't until they shipped me the lid and told me that all sales are final that they informed me that the lids were sold separate from the locks and the locks are no longer in production. So basically they turned my composter which is now paper weight into a $50 more expensive composter. I want to call them to explain what was going on. They said they're sorry that I feel misled and there's nothing they can do and all sales are final.
