On 8/10/20 dericho storm came through. Hired this company to do the work to fix my home after a tree fell on it. They received over $18,000 so far. So far I only have a shingles on my roof, and a halfway completed flat roof. I did part of the demolition to the inside of my house after the ceiling fell from water damage. I removed the carpet that was moldy from water damage. It is now 8/8/22 and I’m still living in the nightmare due to this company not returning phone calls, texts, emails. I have estimates to get the work complete by other companies and it includes finishing and fixing the only this this company did my roof. I have a down spout from my gutter now draining directly into my shed so my shed now floods with rain. If the rain even goes in since the company didn’t install the drip plate between a flat roof and gutter. The rubber sheet for the flat roof they nailed into the house and didn’t cover the nails. They also took materials with them that I paid for and didn’t refund. 5 1/2 bundles of shingles. This company and their alias UOTR inc out of Bloomington, IL and Oak Brook, IL is a bunch of scam artists . When asked for receipts they will email and never do.Initial Complaint

On August 10, 2020 there was a storm that did major hail and wind damage to the roofs on my storage facility in Wenona, IL. I had ****** ******* give me an estimate for the repair of the roofs. The insurance company's payout was unreasonably low so ****** suggested I hire the public adjusting company ** ********** ***. I did that and during that process, somehow ** ********* gave the job to another roofing company named ** ** *** ******* ********** without me knowing. When I asked why the paperwork had this other companies name on it, they replied that they were a subcontractor for ****** ******* and that I was still dealing with the same company. This turned out not to be true. ** ********** *** then hired lawyers to fight the insurance claim for more money. All this time I am told that I cannot contact my insurance or the contractor during the process. Finally it had to go to a final appraisal board with an Umpire. After all was said and done, the entire payout was $62,325.18. They had received all of the money by March 22, 2022. They then told me that they hadn't gotten enough to do the roofs and that they were trying to get estimates to get the work done. Then they blocked my phone number and will not answer my emails or voicemails. I believe that they think they can just keep my insurance money and not do the work. To make matters worse, I sold this business in June 2021, with a stipulation that I was to finish the insurance claim and repair the roof as part of the purchase agreement with the new owner. He is very upset that it has been a year and I cannot get the roof repaired. Attached is a list of checks that the company has received to date.
