      I purchased a brand new 2019 ******* *** tractor with loader and an extended warranty from Birkey's Farm store on February 17, 2020. I have had several issues with tractor and Birkey's had failed to diagnose issues within the timeframe of the manufacturers warranty. So we had to pay for repairs such as a new computer on a new tractor. I found the extended warranty paperwork and had to pay an attorney to send Birkey's a letter to acknowledge my warranty. Now they know i do in fact have a warranty and there is another issue with the steering motor. steering problems would be a safety issue in my eyes but Birkey's is refusing to work on my tractor at any of their locations. when i spoke with the mechanic at the ******* store he informed me that my problem is covered by warranty but he is not allowed to work on my tractor as per **** ****** he is the general manager at the ********* Birkey's location. I just want Birkey's to conduct business as they should and treat folks with common courtesy. How many other people have they done this to and they dont know because others dont save paperwork or take the time to read the fine print.

      We at Birkey’s Farm Store, Inc. would like to thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention.  We take customer service and satisfaction very seriously.  In fact, it means so much to us that it is the foundation of our business.  Our mission statement: We are committed to consistently satisfying our customers' needs and exceeding their expectations by providing quality services and building and maintaining genuine relationships.

      We at Birkey's have been more than fair in this issue.  This matter was addressed and applicable refunds provided to Mr. ****** via his attorney and the agreement of all parties.  Please see attached correspondence.  At this time it was agreed that we would cease business with Mr. ****** given the struggles we have had.  As we review our transactions with Mr. ****** over the years, there is a history of him not paying his invoices, late payment, or nonpayment.  Again, it is unfortunate that he has filed this complaint as both parties were whole on past business and we made it clear that we would not be performing work for Mr. ****** going forward.

      Our ********* Store Manager, **** ****** has attempted to phone Mr. ****** to verbally resolve his concerns, but has received no response.  He will continue to make attempts to connect.

      Please let us know if we can provide any additional information to resolve this complaint.  Birkey's has a strong history as a fair and reputable business and we intend to keep it that way.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      I would like to know what invoices I have not paid. Besides the invoice I was told would not be billed due to me asking to have this issue fixed within 6 months of buying the tractor. Or maybe it was the dualls because you couldn't find tires for months I finally paid for them and found the tires on my own at ****** **** in Monmouth. This was the third tractor I have bought from birkeys amongst several other things like tools and always would do business there if I could because you're local. ****, ***, and **** all lie and treat customers horrible as for any other birkeys employee I have ever met they've been good people and pleasant to do business with. I have traded the tractor at another dealership out of town so I don't want anything from Birkeys but I believe they should pay close attention to the three guys I had to deal with and somehow now I'm the bad guy.
