On June 16 (Approx), 2020 NuVision Flooring installed a new LVT flooring in my residence at the value of around $8,000 (Paid). Roughly 6 months later the floor began to fail. Once contacting them regarding this it took them nearly 3 months to get someone from the vendor or to inspect the floor. Shorty after that I was informed that the floor would be replace. Then around the end of 2021/Beginning of 2022 the floor began to fail again. NuVision was contacted again. After several weeks of little to no communication from NuVision back to myself I was informed that the manufacturer of the floor would be sending an independent inspector to look at the flooring. This was on November 7th, 2022. The independent contractor made it seem as though the flooring was installed poorly and incorrectly over the existing subfloor materials, thus leading to the failures. Since that date I have been trying to get in contact with NuVision flooring using their only provided phone number and have not been contacted or returned any information as to were this issue stands. At this point I have a second failing floor that has been fully paid for and I am not receiving any warranty service or attention. I cannot get in contact with them, nor has anyone from their business contacted me. I have no contacts with the manufacturer since NuVision was the middleman used for communication.Business response

the claim was filed. Once the claim is filed it is out of our hands until we receive the report. the findings of the report still have not yet been released so the homeowner is incorrect in saying that he has the findings of the report. as soon as the findings are released we will proceed from there and rectify the situation. the manufacturer has been dragging their feet and getting this done which my office manager has told the homeowner many times, but yet again it is out of our hands until the findings of the report are released.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. While I didnt claim to have the final report or the information contained, I did know the preliminary opinion of the inspector with the facts that were on hand at the time of inspection. It is not my job to push this along and I believe better communication attempts should be made by the contractor. I contacted the manufacturer as well regarding this issue and they replied in a timely manner, so Id imagine if the contractor was to contact them they may be able to expedite this issue seeing as we are going on two and a half years of issues without resolution. Although I accept the parts of the response from the contractor I still feel there is more that can be done to finalize this dispute so no further communication will be required
