  **** came out to do my roof and chimney. He did the roof but left me and my wife with most the clean up. Said he would be back out to finish the chimney in a week but never showed. He left tin exposed thats supposed to seal the roof. So I fear Im getting more water inside. I couldnt get ahold of him for 3 weeks. So I called him from my work phone because he didnt have the number. He answered and said he would be out in a week. He never showed about and know Im fearing more water damage from him not dealing the roof. I have pictures, can provide phone logs or anything else needed. Thank you for you time

  The homeowner has a few things wrong in their statements. GDK Construction *** Discussed 3 seperate projects with the home owner. number one being the roof replacement, 2 being a chimmney siding repair, and 3 being siding for the home all 3 were seperate bids per the home owner [ can supply them for review. the home owner throw discussion had to take a loan and only chose to do the roof and chimenny proposals. the roof was completed during that time we were accused of breaking there landscaping, the air conditioning condensior unit. i have photos of before - after- cleanup and final. there was now damage to there landscaping except for pene flowers that she was informed the night befor the roof replacement was start that they would fall down just as they do with rain but will bounce back. the air conditiong was serviced 2.5 hours before we striped the roof on that side of the home, i personly should the home owner that the service rep had pulled the fuss is the reason for there issue. we were accused on the removal of the roof because the singles on the roof were 2 layers and fried when removing came off in peaces of about 5 to 6 inches when doing so it is messy. she call over her neighbor which was a contractor in before he retired to back her claims up except he agreed that the process was the only way and fried 2 layer roofs are like that. there were a total off 9 people there and can verify this. the chimmeny was to be done after the roof was striped on day 2 when we arived that morning we were told that they were not doing it because of there air so the person there to do it was sent elsewhere, i discussed it with the owner that night he changed his mind and job was on again which puts it back fitting it back in jobs all ready in line and weather, the onwner again thru text cancelled the job which we will no longer do after 2 cancellations. the clean up from the job was done by the 4 laborers i had there not the home owner and also have the dump receipts for both dumps. all documents are available

  I am rejecting this response because: he did not address the unfinished job in his statement. The pictures show exposed tin. I want it finished or refunded so I can hire someone to finish his job.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  I have pictures of shingles still in my garden. Me and my wife finished pick up. I also attached pictures of tin exposed around my chimney. I have texts messages of you admitting you were supposed to head out. The job was canceled after I caught you in lord. Im looking for a refund so I can hire someone to finish the job since I feel that GDK construction has no integrity with there customers. You have not addressed the issue that I brought to the BBB. 
  

  The tin around my chimney is exposed and not sealed. That is not a job finished.

  i have already responded to the complaint his issue is on the siding side that the home owner needs to fix roof is installed to code.

  I am rejecting this response because: I paid you a lot of money and this sloppy work was not discussed before payment was given to you. I do not accept this response because now I have to finish what you could not. Now I have to fix these issues. I checked with Grundy county and there is no record of permit, so I can not take your word that this is up to code.
