Got oil change from jiffy lube on 12/30/22. On 30jan 2023 truck stopped running. Had truck towed on 31jan to D&V Brakes 4 Le$$ **** N *****. Was advised by mechanic that engine lock and timing belt was destroyed caused by oil leaking from oil plug that was loose....and the last service to oil was done by jiffy lube on 12/30/22. I Contacted the manager *******************. Who gave me the run around for 2days... then I contacted the corporate office on Friday 3 feb and filed a complaint. And to no avail, haven't heard anything.I had file claim with my insurance who will now pay. So I want jiffy lube to reimbursement me for my $500 deductible and expenses of paying for uber a total of $1000Business response

The manage **** went to inspect the vehicle and found a trail of oil and a puddle under the vehicle ask the repair shop about it and they said it was from her car. The timing belt went bad and was the cause of the engine semi lock up the engine. The crank shaft and one came still turn the other came does not because it's hitting the pistons. This has nothing to do with the oil plug leaking oil leaking from the plug will not get on the timing belt. The engine has major oil leaks prior to the service which is noted on the signed invoice and comes in low on oil prior to oil change also noted. I can provide pictures of the oil puddle and major oil leaks **** took at the repair shop.Customer response
