I registered my daughter for the summer intensive program, as a 12 year old out of state student. The program advertises supervised on campus housing. About a month prior to the program starting, I was advised that there was no housing available. I spoke ********************, she stated you were trying to secure more dorms and she was confident there would be dorms added. However, if that was unsuccessful, she would forward a request for a refund to the financial department. Additional dorms have not been secured, so my daughter has no housing. Your program makes no mention of housing being limited and no deadline to sign up for housing. Obviously my 12 year old cannot be left in Chicago alone. Without the housing promise, she cannot participate. Not only the housing issue, but **** also has an unexpected medical condition requiring surgery within the next few weeks. I have made ****** aware of both issues (gave her proof of Mayas medical) and stayed in direct contact with her. I am unsure why my refund request keeps getting denied. Attached is the email from ****** stating the refund for housing would be forwarded, as well as the unexpected medical condition is an approved refund.
