On Thursday, 08/26/21 I was contacted by *******************, employee at Ho Brothers Mfg Jewelers because they needed their Paragon kiln repaired. A number of emails ensued during which I worked with ******************* to diagnose potential causes for the kiln error, I was authorized to order kiln parts, and we established the date/time of kiln service. I reported to Ho Brothers at their address, ******************** in *******, ** on 09/21/21 to perform kiln repairs. I installed a new thermocouple and transformer, checked and tested wires and elements, and performed a test fire program. I spoke with *******************, but also the site manager, and was also asked to check on a Neycraft kiln that was also malfunctioning. The Neycraft kiln was determined to be wired inappropriately, and it was not a model I was able to fix immediately. I was at the Ho Brothers location for a few hours, though I only charged them for active repair time, and not for waiting time while the kiln was running the test program. I explained everything I was doing to *******************, and it was he who signed my itemized service form before I left. With consideration, I did not charge Ho Brothers until nearly two weeks later, after I confirmed with ******************* that the kiln had been running well and was regularly being used again. I then charged the **** I had been provided, which **** had signed the authorization for charge while in my presence prior to my leaving. Months later, in December, Ho Brothers filed a complaint against me claiming I fraudulently charged their card. While I provided all documentation, their funds were still withdrawn from my accounts and thus I am now out all of the monies for their kiln parts, labor fees, and agreed-upon reimbursements. I want other service providers to beware of this company, who will take advantage of professional services and then later claim fraud, stripping hard-working individuals of their earnings.Customer response
