I bought a ring from Gage diamonds for nearly 3000 dollars, 3 years ago. today on a whim, we had the ring tested and it was moissanite......what!!!! We were even given a diamond authentication card with the ring. I am so furious right now, I paid $3000 dollars for a moissanite I could of gotten the same ring for 150 dollars. Stay away from Gage Diamonds they are scammers.Review from Ashley H

I am giving 2 stars only bc they are giving me my money back. From day one communication with **** was poor and has been even worse since I had an issue. We received the ring 02/27. I wore it for pictures 02/28 and did not put it on again until 03/06 when I returned to work. I wore it 4 days only while at work and took it off in the evenings. On 03/09 the center stone came out of the ring and we noticed an accent stone missing on the bezel. I attempted to call **** twice that day I could not even leave a message bc the mailbox was full.No explanation as to why this would happen, what would cause the metal to be that weak. We were even told the jeweler needed extra time to ensure the quality of the ring b/c it was not going to ship by the date they had given me.No phone call to apologize for the inconvenience. There were communication problems before while having ordering the ring, but i saw the review and gave them a chance. Sadly they were a disappointment. They are super nice while you are in the process of buying and building, but once the sale is complete don't expect anything. They are pretty much done with you.

I see the order was placed on February 4th, changed 2 days later, and then shipped on February 27th, which is 14 business days, and within our quoted ***** business days for custom engagement rings. We stand by the quality of our products and offer a complimentary 6-month aftercare program that covers manufacturing defects, should they arise on rare occasions like this. Our team communicated your estimated ship date was the 24th, and with our complimentary 2-day shipping, you would receive it on February 28th. When our jeweler notified us they needed additional time to work on the ring, we informed you immediately on the 24th and provided free overnight shipping to ensure you still received the ring on the same date - February 28th. As I stated, this situation is a rare occasion, and we have since sent you a prepaid return label for the ring and a full return.
