Village medical on a whole is a disaster and a disgrace. I absolutely loved my primary care doctor's office, until Village medical took over. It is clear that village medical's top priority is getting patients in and out, booking as many patients as possible, and solely making money. They do not care about good doctor/patient relationships. I had a very good relationship with my doctor's office prior to them taking over. It's almost impossible to get an appointment now with our *** for myself or my kids. They asked me to go to a different office, in a different city. If I wanted to have just some random doctor constantly, I would just go to an urgent care. My experience has been very poor since they took over, and I would not recommend choosing an office that is owned or managed by village medical.Review from Hector A

I came here to see Dr. ****** ****** for a yearly physical, I explain my self very well that I was there just for the physical and nothing else, cause I did not wanted to get en extra bill like the previous year.Same day of my visit Dr ****** subscribed me *********, base on analysis I had a year ago.Cause that Im getting a bill of $147.I disputed twice and had no success,I got robed again, from Medical village , I will never come back to this palace.Billing is and the Doctor are terrible.Review from Melissa E

RUN AWAY... DON'T go here!! Nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get some one on the phone to schedule appointment or for assistance in getting refills that pharmacy says has sent requess. Takes days and multiple calls. Then put on hold ***** minutes and receptionist is of ZERO help. No one returns calls or reply to medication requests. They DON'T answer refill requests from pharmacy for an existing patient. It should NOT be this hard for a patient to get medicine or an appointment!!Review from Michael M

I went to Village Medical because my Blood pressure was high and i needed to start Blood pressure medication. I was there 15 minutes and they took my blood pressure and asked some questions. The service was fine but it was the billing that was an issue. When i checked out i received a bill that said it was for all services provided today. I paid the $120 in full and in cash. A few days later I got an email saying that I needed to pay my bill. Another $125 was added on with no explanation. When you call you cannot speak with the local office that you went to about the bill. You are transferred overseas to someone that barely speaks English. When you call there is even an option to select if you are an attorney which is a big red flag. What ************* has this as an option when you call. They refuse to remove the additonal $125 and have no explanation for it to this day.Review from Vincent P

****** ****** is a disgrace to the medical profession. I scheduled an appointment on 10/24, but instead of helping me, ****** kicked me out of his office, physically threatened me, and then said he would call the police if I didn't leave.Review from Cynthia M

I had one visit to the ******** location and received my bill which double charged my copay. I called and emailed Village Medical and my insurance. I also spoke directly to their billing department a couple of times. No one knew what was going on. I went in for my second visit, at the same location, and the ladies at the front desk said I was double charged because I asked about something to the Nurse Practitioner that was equivilent to two appointments. They said they would take care of the double charge. I jokingly asked if I would also get double charged for the second appointment. We all laughed and they said no. A few months later I was looking through my patient portal and discovered that I have been double charged for both appointments. Even though I paid my copay both times, I now still have a balance of two extra copays. Where is it written what can or cannot be asked about in a medical visit? I called to cancel my third appointment and the associate said to wait until they tried to bill my insurance again. I've only had two visits. My insurance isn't going to pay for 4 visits. Being double charged the first time could have only been an oversight or a mistake. Being double charged twice is a pattern. I will be double charged anytime I visit this office. I would have been a lifelong patient but I'm now looking for another medical practice to trust because I don't recommend Village Medical.Review from Sam W

I had an appointment on Friday morning at 11am to get my medication refilled. They demanded my payment immediately to see a doctor. I never got to see a doctor only a nurse practitioner, which is not able to sign off on my medication refill. It is now Monday at 11:30 AM. I still have not got my medication refilled. I have been out since Friday.Review from Chris D

All I wanted was a at home sleep apnea monitor, easy right. OH NO! I had to get an appointment ( took weeks) and waste my time so they could weigh me and take my blood pressure and ask a few questions to get the prescription. Then I had to wait for a call from the sleep *** So I get a call from a hospice *** That doesnt even deal with sleep studies. ( I call VM HQ .. they still havent called me back)So they call VM to tell them their referral is in error. Then I get a call from a sleep *** They get my info and will get back to me. I call them days later to see progress.. they say we are waiting on VM for more info. You would think Im trying to get hard narcotics from VM. Do sleep monitors have hard drugs in them? I should have never had to go in, it should have been done over the phone This should be so simple but its a nightmare on village medical street!And its still not resolved!Incompetence, incompetence, incompetence!I shudder to think if I had something more urgent going on.VillageMD Response

Worst place to go ever ************ Lied on my spouse and accused him of beating me when it's a lie and also over charged me for services. I would love to shut this business down . They hired Dr. Who lie and nurses who lie too.VillageMD Response

I've been trying to get a referral for weeks, their referral ***** Is incompetent at providing this service. I have visited the the clinic on ************ in ******* multiple times to get this resolved. There is no response from the patient portal cominicater. The *********** says they will fix this, but I am still waiting. Do not use this medical service, save yourself a lot of aggravating circumstances. This is socialized medicine at its best.VillageMD Response
