I went to oral & maxillofacial surgery for my two of wisdoms teeth extract at Sep-24-2021. Before I went to the office. I called my insurance Delta Dental phone # ************** to confirm I was in the network to cover the insurance. And also I made sure when I walked in to the doctor's office and they did tell me I was cover by the insurance. When the doctor started the surgery, they told me some of the procedures didn't cover by the insurance which was $210 , I needed to pay out of the pocket. I did paid for it before the surgery. But after the surgery, they told me I had to pay $955 more , I made sure with them if that's the only part I needed to pay, they said yes, all the other ******** would claim from the insurance , if not , that would be discount for me and I didn't need to pay, after back and forth to confirm the insurance and the ********** the ************ told me that's the only money I need to pay. I did pay them with the credit for $955. I thought everything done. But one week ago after 3 years of the surgery, they sent me the statement for the balance about $2,126. I called them, they told me I had to pay this amount cause they won't be able to claim from the insurance. But I called the insurance, the insurance told me cause of the claim time-line over, the insurance wont pay for it after more than one year of the service day at sep-24-2021. Please help me to solve the problem. I told them I don't have the insurance anymore.
