We parked S ***** parking lot and scanned the ** parking sign code next to our car and paid for parking. It gave us the address *******************. We have receipts in our email that prove we paid for parking at 2:16 PM on Saturday June 22 and our car was towed from the lot at 3:06 PM on the same day. We have receipts to show this. When we tried to call the towing company ********* Services) they said that the ****************************************** (River **************** ********** told them to tow it. We talked to the building and they have no record of this. When we tried to call the Hunter Parking they did not respond. In the past, I have seen cars get a warning sticker to pay for parking, but we were towed illegally and we have receipts to prove we had paid for the parking. We had to retrieve our car from the tow lot and had to pay 245 dollars for it. We have been paying for parking like the good people we are (and have even overlapped our parking times so there was not even a single minute unpaid). How can they tow me even though I have paid? Do they not check whose car had paid for parking? This is absolutely ridiculous.

This customer had a valid payment from 6/20 through 6/21 at 7:30pm.  The vehicle exited at 2:36pm on the 21st and reentered at 6:01pm the same day.  There was no valid payment found between 7:30pm the 21st thru Noon on the 22nd when I started checking the lot.  There was still no payment found at 1pm so I requested the vehicle to be towed at that time.

While I do see the stamp on the tow receipt showing a time of 3pm, which is after this customer paid at ****** - I cannot control how long it takes the tow company to process vehicles.

The bottom line is this customer was in the lot for over 17 hours without payment.

I am rejecting this response because:

when we attempted to pay for the lot via QR code, the online payment said it would be $60 to pay for one day even though the sign says $14. When trying to use this code, we tried to find the correct lot, thinking the code did not work. We finally paid at 2 because we found the correct lot. Additionally, you said you checked the lot at noon and found we had not paid. You are speculating we parked overnight. We did not pay from 7:30 PM until the next day because we drive our car. BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT PEOPLE DO WITH THEIR CARS.

At this point, I really really dont care what you say about anything. You towed my car, whatever.  Everything has already been said and done, clearly. Regardless of whenever you called The tow truck, the bottom line is you let me pay for a whole day of parking when my car wasnt even there. So give me my money back for it. I already had to pay your ridiculous towing fee, so why am I paying for a whole day of parking when I wasnt even parked there on Saturday to Sunday? And while youre at it, try checking on your QR codes because its trying to make me pay $60 sometimes when it clearly states $14 at the beginning of the parking entrance.

On October 21St. We parked at ********************************************************************************** Lot. and paid for parking via ParkWhiz! However, a month later, we received a parking violation ticket from Fox Car Rental. Here's the details of the parking violation: ****************** Fox Car Rental Lic. Plate Number: ********** Violation Number: ********** Violation date/time: 10/21/23 5:42pm I have the ParkWhiz! receipt as well as proof that the payment cleared my credit card. The violation should not have been issued. Fox Car Rental is charging me a total of $120 for this invalid violation. I have tried contacting both Hunter Parking and Fox Car Rental and either one is unwilling to resolve this issue. Hunter Parking in particular makes it impossible to contact them to contest this issue. I have called a couple of their numbers, no one answers the phone and they advise to go to a website that does not have the option of filing a claim. I am requesting for this violation to be dismissed and to be reimbursed for the $120 they have deducted from my credit card. Thank you for your help, ***********************

We paid for parking at 968 ************** and that is the lot that we parked in, receipt attached and location of parking in correct lot. We received a ticket stating that we parked at 880 ************** from Hunter Parking. I searched these 2 addresses and they are adjacent locations. 880 ************** is run by Hunter Parking and 968 ************** is run by Spot ****** I tried to contact Hunter Parking but no response to my voice message and no where on the web site to contest the $105.00 ticket, Notice # ********** - plate #EC53960. This appears to be a scam where they are ticketing people in the neighboring lot and hoping that they no longer have the receipt!. They are now threatening to impound the vehicle and turn this over to a collection agency.

Hunter Parking does not do business with spot angel.  Hunter Parking did not receive payment for the day the customer was parked.  I checked our system and lisence plate number EC53960 does not show as paid for 8/26/23.  Hunter Parking believes you were scammed by spot angel.  I would foward your complaint to them.

On 11/11/2023 my wife went to park in the lot at 923 s *****. There was no attendant on duty there for her to pay. Individuals who were parked there said to my wife that he is hardly there. She waited for awhile but no one showed up. She was taking food to a friend and didn't stay very long. When she came back to the car within 2 hours, there was still no attendant. She left. Weeks later, we get a notice that we owe $180. My wife responded to them on their website. We get a second letter that we owe $105. This sounds like a scam from what I have been reading on this site. I wrote them I would settle with them $40. I am retired and receive a pension. I will contact the news media for their actions if they continue their threatening letters of impoundment or legal collections. It's their managing incompetence for not having an attendant on duty.

I sent the customer an email explaining how to pay the daily rate.  Once Hunter Parking receives the payment we will void the violation.

On October 22, 2023 we purchased parking through ParkWhiz to park at their ****************************** in *******. 2 months later we received a parking violation notice from ***** the company we had rented the car from. Hunter Parking issued violation notice ********** for a total of $105, when we had already paid prior to parking and had parked after the time indicated on the pass. We've contacted Hunter Parking both by phone and email with no reply. We are very frustrated at what feels like predatory behavior when we paid for parking in advance and can provide receipts (ParkWhiz PARKING PASS #*********).

I used this facility to park for 3-4 hours on 9/29/2023. There were no attendants, and ****************** only accepted cash. I paid for parking for the entire day and left the ticket on my dashboard. 2 months later, I received a $130 fine in the mail from Hunter Parking. I have attempted to contact the business numerous times, via phone, email, and website, and have gotten no response. Every review of this company states a similar, scam experience.

I am rejecting this response because:

******* finally reached out and informed me that I paid for the incorrect parking lot, yet there are no signs, attendants, or separation of the lots. The machine that he claims I was supposed to pay was non-operational, so I paid at the only other machine, which was 50 feet away.  ******* acknowledged my payment (See attached) yet did not resolve the issue and I am still awaiting a refund and dismissal of the fine.

On 9/8 my husband and I parked in a Hunter open lot at 926 So ***** by the river boat tour entrance. My husband entered credit card info following prompts and thought it had accepted. At end of September we received a notice for non-payment and a bill for $80. The original cost was $12 and after checking all credit statements we could not find payment. I tried to call then went online and tried to file a complaint and offer to send in the $12 but I think it didn't accept since I had no proof to attach I tried to call and go online again on the 28th but no answer and notice ********** said void. We received another notice for $105 today . We are mailing a check for $12. We will try to call and leave a message if no answer

I purchased a Spot Hero parking spot at the Hunter Parking lot at 880 ************** on 9/20/2023 for 5:00 pm. About a week later, the owner of the car received a ticket (notice # **********) from Hunter Parking claiming that she was out of compliance at the date, time and location listed, and was issued an $80 violation. I followed up with Spot Hero who contacted Hunter Parking. Hunter Parking said that we had arrived at 4:59:04 which was 56 seconds before my Spot Hero reservation was to begin. They sent Spot Hero a grainy photo which they shared with me showing a time stamp of 4:59:04.I had purposely waited until 5:00 pm to pull into the lot. I don't believe that it is fair for Hunter Parking to charge me $80 for a 56 second difference. I parked in the lot in good faith believing that I was entering at 5:00 pm. I feel that Hunter Parking is not being reasonable to me or Spot Hero. I would request that they refund the $80 ticket that I paid.

I received a "courtesy" notification letter from Hunter Parking, Inc. which states that my car was parked at ********************************************* on March 7, 2023. They bill me for $80. I never parked in the Hunter parking lot on 525 ************, ******* as I live in the ********** on **************** and have a month parking permit in the underground parking facility in the River City. There is no reason for me to park in the Hunter parking lot two blocks away from where I live. I tried to call and left phone message but no one gets back to me. Also the dispute websites they provided in the notice letter don't exit. They provided a picture of my license plate but it is so small and doesn't show where/if the car was physically parked in their lot.
