Basically I paid the company JLL to be a copywriter but they I have pay money upfront for the equipment that I would need and paid them $600. And they have not responded to anything of my messages and they have change there email address know it is staying to the email address not be found. The hiring manager name is ******************* and we only talk through the wize app. This was a copywriter position that I applied for but I still would like the chance to work with them and yes he said he will refund my $600.Initial Complaint

My mother died in April, 2021 and I was named administrator of her estate. She has a 401k account with Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. (JLL) I have been trying to access the funds to her 401k account for over a year and a half without success, which is the reason for the complaint. The following is a summary of my most recent communication with JLL:1/17/2023 - JLL sent me an email stating they would submit a *** for my mother's 401k account once they received the name, address and DOB for the beneficiary. They stated they had contacted their affiliate, Fidelity, to get the death certificate (which was submitted and received by Fidelity on 11/30/2022).1/19/2023 - I sent JLL an email with their requested information (name, address and DOB of the beneficiary)1/20/2023 - JLL sent me an email acknowledging receipt of the requested information and stated the *** had been submitted and would take **** business days to receive the packet via US mail and the packet would also include future contact information if needed.2/3/2023 - I sent JLL an email stating the packet had not been received and asked the status of when the packet was mailed. 2/3/2023 - JLL responded stating the account was previously closed. If in fact the account was closed, which is suspect, JLL needs to answer the following questions:1) Who authorized the closing of the account?2) When was the account closed?3) Who signed off on the account?4) Who received the funds from my mother's 401k?Business response

Re: ID# ******** - Matter of *************************** and ***************************** under the Jones Lang LaSalle Savings and Retirement Plan (the Plan)Dear Better Business Bureau Customer Relations Representative:This letter responds to your email correspondence regarding ID# ******** - Matter of *************************** and ***************************** under the Plan. The complaint was filed February 5, 2023. Please note that the Plan is a separate legal entity from Jones Lang LaSalle ********, **** and inquiries relating to the Plan should be directed to the *************************** (the Plan Administrator) at the following address:Jones Lang LaSalle****************************************************Chicago, ******** 60601.************** asserted that she was unable to access the funds in her mothers account with Fidelity Investments, the Plans recordkeeper, for over a year and a half. The Plan Administrator performed an investigation and discovered that Ms. ****** mothers 401(k) account was correctly closed and transferred to an account in the beneficiarys name. The Plan Administrator determined that this was a miscommunication, and it appears that ************** never received the appropriate mailed communication from Fidelity, which included instructions for accessing the account. Fidelity subsequently provided a letter to the beneficiary dated January 31, 2023, that explained the necessary processes to obtain access to her mothers account with Fidelity. As of January 20, 2023, the beneficiary account transfer was processed. Since the account transfer has been processed, ************** is now able to contact Fidelity directly at ************ or online via Fidelity NetBenefits at ******************************* to review her account and the matter has been resolved.**************JLL********************************************Chicago, ** 60601jll.comCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: JLL strung me along into believing I was going to receive the money from my mother's 401k account. Instead, they closed the account and transferred it to Fidelity; thus, passing the buck to Fidelity. This was very deceptive and dishonest. The correspondence from Fidelity dated January 31, 2023, postmarked February 3, 2023, was received by me on February 10, 2023. This correspondence included a four page document entitled Special Tax Notice - Your Rollover Options. I do not wish to rollover any of the money.
Now, after nearly 2 years, I am still expected to jump through hoops, spend endless hours on the phone being subjected to numerous hangups and transfers to various departments/people, having the sound of blow horns blasting in my ears, endless e-mails, etc. to no avail? This is unacceptable.
This matter has not been resolved. JLL's behavior toward me has been treacherous and unprofessional during a time when I am most vulnerable and still grieving the loss of my mother.
The only satisfactory resolution would be to issue a complete payout to me minus applicable taxes.
Sincerely,
*****************************Initial Complaint

I completed the term of my office lease for my office at ********************************************************************** on 10/31/2021. I requested my security deposit of $942.00 to be refunded. The property was sold with a closing on 10/31/2021 and a new property management company (Jones Lang ** Salle ********, **** took over at that time. I was told that the pass through expense computation had to be completed before any refund would be made. I inquired on a regular basis about when the computation would be completed and was finally told that it would be in April 2022. I asked again the last week in April and several times in May and have not received any further communication.Business response

JLL stands for uncompromising integrity and the highest ethical conduct. In line with our normal procedures, JLL performed an internal review and concluded it is not responsible for any defaulted payment(s) by the subtenant under the lease contract. Additionally, per the listing agreement, JLLs broker was not required to perform any due diligence or credit analysis on behalf of the client, and therefore has no obligation to refund any commission earned. JLL notified the client of this position on January 13, 2022, within two months of the original notification. JLL understands the financial impact this unfortunate situation created and encouraged the client to enforce their rights and remedies under their lease contract.***********************Head of Global PRCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:I was a tenant in a building that this company managed. I moved out on 10/31/21 and as of today 9/18/22 they have not refunded my security deposit to me. This response has nothing to do with my situation. I was not owed a commission. I am tired of this company always stating how ethical they are when they are unable to return a security deposit to a tenant who moved out.
Sincerely,

Thank you for forwarding this request, which has now been resolved. In keeping with the terms of *********************** lease at ******************, the security deposit refund was processed upon final determination of rent based on the recently completed reconciliation for ******* through October 2021. This process was explained via email and phone calls with **************. The last correspondence on July 21, 2022, specified that the refund of $798.87, which represents the security deposit of $942.00 less the outstanding rent of $143.13, has now been finalized, and payment should have been received by ************** by mid-AugustCustomer response

Complaint: 17237257
I am rejecting this response because:The company response is correct in the fact that I finally received the security deposit refund in September 2022 for a lease that ended on October 31, 2021. I had to contact them many times to find out where the refund was and I received slow responses and was given vague excuses. JLL does not act like the ethical company they represent themselves to be. There is no excuse for taking a year to refund a security deposit.
Sincerely,

We, YFYJupiter US **** trusted JLLs professional knowledge and service in agency leasing and relied on the background checks and advice to sublease our space our subtenant, C Soft **** from 2021 Jan to Oct 2023 in low price (recovery rate: around 30%). Also, we have paid the full commission fee $19,969 to JLL last Feb for ****** 3-year sublease term. Unfortunately, Csoft stop paying us the monthly sublease payments from 2021 Sep and could not be contacted And, we found the JLLs background check info was not in consist the actual condition to mislead our judgement.Because we found the public info of C-soft was obviously different from what we were told by JLL on Nov 02, 2020. In fact, Csoft Incs previous business name (before Oct 27, 2020) is CATS ************* and CATS acquired by Top Echelon on the announced Date of Nov 11, 2020. However, *********************, our broker from JLL, seemed embellishing the negative news of the subtenant(*****************) selling his company (CastOne) as exciting news and apparently unaware that C-soft and Cast-one are the same company without due-diligence. She even made a point of emphasizing that Asims good credit of paying rental to convince us there is no need to request a personal guarantee. "***************** is our client and was the founder of CatsOne. That is the company he just sold last week... It was a very successful business and we have been helping Asim with his space needs for over 12 years and have not had one issue with rent delinquency. The new company he has purchased and is looking to grow is C Soft ****"We are cautiously seeking JLLs support to deal with the dispute of C-soft from Nov 23, 2021, but, what a pity that JLL keeps getting delayed issues until now. Also, there is no substantial progress about subleasing the space again to reduce our losses.Business response
