I arrived at the store on Tuesday, September 27th to do an IN-STORE-PICK-UP for 2 phones. Nothing else, nothing more! I checked in with the **************** Rep named *********************************, who was currently assisting another customer at his desk. I showed him my I.D. and he told me to have a seat in the waiting area and he would look up my order. A few minutes later he asked me for my debit card on my account. I gave it to him along with my I.D. and he asked me to have a seat again. About five minutes later, he called me over to a table and asked me to sign to receipts. I saw the receipts were each for $110.24 for each phone. Total of $220.48. Let me just say he never told me he was charging anything; I did not give him authorization. I asked him what I was charged for and he mumbled that it was taxes on the phones. I told him I financed the phones and he mumbled something along the lines of with the cost of living and hardships at the current moment, he went ahead and cancelled my order (who authorized that) and I paid the taxes at the store. That makes completely no sense to me! While he was TRYING to explain to me he was also dealing with the customer at his desk. Why does the receipt he sent me not reflect my customer agreement on my Device Payment Plan. Why does the receipt state that the phone was $950 with 100% discount and a fee of ***** with sales tax of ***** for each line. Thats a completely different narrative to saying I was charged taxes on a financed phone of 8*****. And my future bills still reflect my Device Payment Plans! The math isnt adding up!I need my money back! I got robbed!!
