Contracted with PRG/ Prime Roofing Group *** on 6/08/2021 to dismantle west retaining wall and remove existing limestone caps from both bannisters. Complained to company on 04/10/23 and sent images of slab separation on the west *********. Did not get a response from the company. Contacted company again on 9/07/23 and sent images of the slab which had shifted further apart. I was told the work was under warranty and someone would be out on 9/11/23. No one came to do the repair. Called again on 9/13/23, was promised that someone would be out the next ********* of promises but nothing happens. Today 9/15/23 I will contact another company to make the corrections. I have a 15 year guarantee that has proven to be useless because its only good for promises and delays. I believe I have given ample time for Prime Roofing Group *** to resolve the issue Ive identified above and to prevent the loss of the limestone I need to find a company that can service the masonry issue. I would like PRG/ Prime Roofing Group *** to reimburse me for the cost of the repair. Currently I dont have a quote for the work, since l am waiting for a quote.Initial Complaint

I entered into a contracted agreement with Prime Roofing Group on July 16th, 2023, to build a poolside deck on my property. The owner (***************************) stated that materials would be ordered immediately, and that work should begin the following week on Thursday, July 20th. That ********************** accepted a deposit of $2,600, which was 50% of the contracted job of $5,200. Upon receipt of the money, it took considerable effort to get ******* and his team to show up to begin the job, which they eventually did on July 27th. However, after two days of work the deck was not completed per the contract as the wood is still exposed, the bottom of the deck is not covered, and the gate was not built. All of this was included in the contract. ******* had said that his team would return the following week, but since then, he's avoided contact or made promises that he has not kept and has now completely ignored any attempts to communicate with him. At this point, the deck may become water damaged by not being finished correctly and being exposed to weather conditions in the weeks since they began construction. Hello *****, sorry for the delay in completing your project. I did promise to come out and complete that portion of the deck which is just aesthetics and the work will not be damaged by weather because we did build an outdoor deck for. I will be there on Monday to complete that portion of the deck. We only received a partial down payment from you and there is still a balanced owed. I did not request any more money before finishing the project and the deck is not going to be harmed by weather because it is a outdoor deck and all materials provided are pressure treated and composite which are made for outdoor use. I apologize for the delay and we will look to complete project by Monday this coming week.

I am rejecting this response because: ******* did not come on Monday as stated. I sent him a text message on Monday and he stated that rain was in the forecast and he did not want his team working with electric equipment in the rain. He stated that if it did not rain the next day, the team would come to finish the job. However, it did not rain on Tuesday and his team did not come. I sent ******* a text message on Tuesday to ask what the status was, but did not receive an answer. This is typical to the kind of responses I've gotten throughout the process.
Additionally, ******* is correct that he's only received partial payment; this is because this was the terms of our contract. 50% of the payment was up front the the rest was to be paid after the project was completed. Since the project has not been completed, and I haven't even seen ******* since July 28th, I have not paid him. I would be happy to pay the remaining amount once the job is completed as contracted. ******* did ask for an additional $700 on July 28th, claiming that he misquoted the amount, despite his denial. At that time, I stated that we would stick to the contracted amount.

Prime Roofing Group INC. Have breached there contract, I paid *************************** On 4/23/2018 $6,500 TO replace my Flat Roof And Balcony. I noticed the work was not done properly. ****************** contract that was signed by him and the contract say all work will be coved 100% threw his company Prime Roofing **** ************************************************* **************. I have reached out to ****************** From 7/14/2018 2/8/2022, About my roof leaking inside my home. I explained to ****************** my balcony was flooding hold water on it.The roof has caused serious damage inside my property. I have a 70 inch Flat ************************** over My y fire place that has damaged from water leaking from the celling. My floors are discolored leather sectional is declared from all the water leaking from the celling.On 2/4/2022 Time 9:22am I reacher out to ****************** letting him no I had a serious emergency water was leaking all over my celling kitchen uncontrollably. ****************** respond to my text call saying Hey ***** I'm waiting on my team to get back to me ****************** said he will be at my home at 11:00-11:30 No show or call from ****************** ****************** emailed promise me he will fix the roof and repair the damage walls and celling.Seen 7/14/2018 2/8/2022 ****************** has not kept his promise to fixing the roof or repairs No show or call back After making multiple appointments From ******************. The damage has destroyed celling and other items in my property.Business response

I have been out to this property multiple times since the roof was installed. I have made corrections to the roof and also performed other work to try and solve the problem with mrs ********** roof. I am still willing to come out again and see whats the cause of the leak and correct anything thats needs to be fixed and even offered to repair any damages caused on the interior of her home and try to compensate her for the damaged tv she claims that the roof damaged. I am willing to do what is right if she allows me.Customer response

****************** came out to *********** time in 2020 and have not been back I have water leaking in my home from the poor roofing job,
The contract I received from ****************** say I have a warranty for 20 years on my roof.
****************** have breach his contract

Im writing back again stating that I will repair any damages caused by any roofing defects and any interior damaged cause by roof leaks for **********************. I have been to the property 3 times since the roof was replaced. I have not been denying that I have not been in contact with ********************** as much as I should. But I have also not rejected to repair any damages cause by the roofing errors and willing to do so if ********************** allows me. She has made it seem to me that she does not want me there to claim insurance for the property that *** be from other damages or previous damages proper to doing the roof. I have no intentions on leaving ********************** without correcting the problems for her. I am available to perform any repairs necessary for her this week or the following if shes available.Customer response
