I took my car to Bill & ****#**;s H31**33**333731333832H to repair the transmission. I waited three weeks for the repairs. I just got it back and I paid for the repairs. The car is running worse now than before the repairs. It won&#**;t stay started. It will not accelerate well. The check engine light came on, and that was not on before the repairs. The engine coolant sensor also came on for the first time. I wasn&#**;t even able to take my car off the lot. before issues started. They still have my car, and they are going to check the whole transmission.

This customer brought us a **** Fusion with transmission trouble.  She bought and supplied a used transmission from Al's **** Auto Parts and even brought her own fluids.  The car was originally towed in, we pushed it into the shop and removed the transmission, so we never had the opportunity to drive it prior to working on it.  We can't speak on coolant sensors and such.  Once the transmission was removed, we waited several days for her supplier to deliver us a transmission.  When they did, they delivered it with a broken receiving plug.  ********** manager was the only one there, so when the mechanic returned from his lunch break, he saw the problem and arranged to return it.  When they showed up a few days later to bring us a second one (and pick up the first one) the second one had the same issue (a broken receiving plug for the harness).  We sent it back immediately with the driver.  A week or more went by, we finally received a transmission with the cut harness in the plug.  When removed the harness the receiving plug looked fine. It took us 3 days to install that one and call her to say it was ready.  The vehicle drove out of the garage and onto the parking lot just fine.  At the time of communication that the car was ready we were told by her that she didn't have the money to pay for the car.  So, we waited another week and a half for her to pay the bill which was approximately $1000.  When she said the car wasn't acting right, we offered to check our work (and it checks out just fine).  It is in our opinion that she bought a bad transmission.  We don't warranty parts that were paid for and supplied by the customer.  Since we believe that she received a bad transmission, we will not be offering a refund and would like her to remove her car from our property as soon as possible.

I am rejecting this response because: most of this is false information. When they received the vehicle it did not have any of the sensors on that were on when I got it back. The vehicle is still having transmission issues and misfiring.

      Sincerely,

I will agree to disagree. I told you when I picked up the car that there were drawbacks to buying your own parts.  This is one of the drawbacks, here you are with a bad transmission that someone sold you.  We believe that you should be contacting them not us.  We performed our job just as we were asked and that is what you were charged for.  We would recommend taking your vehicle to a different shop for a second opinion.  We would appreciate if you had the vehicle picked up as soon as possible, as we will not accept any liability for it from this moment forward.  If it is still there on Monday, we will call and have it towed off our lot to an impound yard at your expense.
