on 7-20-2023 we paid them for a job to leakproof water entering our front porch and they added a covering layer on the front porch as well. On August 2nd the covering layer was already pealing off. I contacted the contractor but ever since got ignored. Nobody came out to even take a look nor offer a solution to fix this. Very unprofessional behavior and the sales guy associated with the business keeps pushing it off.

Paid contractor around $8,000.00. Contractor poured new patio, driveway, and sidewalk on 03/29/2022. We were told that the concrete would set in time for the expected timeframe. It rained, the concrete was never covered and water made terrible ruts in the driveway among other very noticeable imperfections. Contractor was notified of the inconsistencies in the work that had been completed. We attempted multiple times to contact him in order to have him fix the issues. Wanted to fix the issues with overlay. We declined as we had been told by other contractors that this would not hold up over time and that it was not advised. The contractor gave us date after date of times that he would return to repair the concrete. He has made one excuse after another why he has not made it back to repair. It has now been 7 months and we are nowhere closer to a resolution. He will read the messages that we send him but will not respond. This is no way to run a business and extremely unprofessional. He was recommended by so many people, needless to say, this is so disappointing.

July 2022 I paid $3727.21 to JGs Projects, *** ********* for front/back sidewalks butting upto foundation, garage, entry doors, steps and asphalt drive, and a partial garage slab at door entry. I was only given a proposal for the job which i signed and it was our contract. On 8/18/22 I had the City Of Decatur home inspector do a consultation of the work done. He found four deficiencys from the Int'l Res Code and Amer Concrete Institute. Consultation letter and code references from IRC and ACI documents attached. Proposal has Guidelines on back side #1. See document Besides failed codes, he concreted siding and metal garage door framing into the job. Not enough control joints. Owner wanted to "fix" a new concrete tearout and pour with "overlay" that I did not agree to. Water drains into the garage after redo. Sawed the edge of sidewalk and left half cut half not with circular cuts showing. Water pools. Owner texted saying he would be back next day to finish. No show or contact over 6 days so he did not finish the "repair". I sent email and text msg requesting refund. I have pictures of my property of the job before, during and after. He sent me a harrassing and intimidating letter of Terms and Conditions that he made up after receiving my email threatening jail and $10000s of dollars fine for me taking pictures of my property and his work and giving honest opinion of him and his business. I filed a police incident report because of the threatening intent and refused to have him back on my property. This caused me depression, anxiety and panic attacks that sent me to the Dr which I now am on antidepressants. I now have to pay someone else twice as much to have his work tore out and redone plus $2300 to have asphalt drive resurfaced and sealed from him damaging it. He is an unethical contractor with contradicting excuses that has taken advantage of a senior single female on SS. My offer was to have $4000 refunded plus fix driveway and we go separate ways. He refused.
