On 7/25/23 I found The Clean Bee cleaning co on ******** marketplace and met the owner, **** ******* who walked throughout the property, opened stove/refrigerator/cabinets. Walked in bathroom, saw everything and accepted job but required full payment up front. I paid $400, she gave me receipt. She came the next day and left shortly after I did and had a list of excuses why she couldn’t do the job. She refuses to return my money until 30 days, I believe she is a a thief and scam artist and people/public need to be alerted.Business response

She had reached out to me in regards to a home for a deep cleaning so we met at the house she needed cleaned. She paid me the 400 dollars as we agreed and I left. I was unaware of her issues until later, when she filed the complaint. The house had not been cleaned for 30 years and had grease and dirt embedded into the walls that would take a lot more to get rid of. I have a contract that states I do not offer refunds but was willing to offer her a refund in the next 30 days. It has not been 30 days and she has continued to call and harass me and my family as well as my children's teachers. I offered to clean the rest of her house but indicated that there would be an upcharge in price because of the neglect in cleaning and the overall condition of the house. I spent 2 hours cleaning the next time I came back before I came across the bottom cabinet that was infested with maggots and mouse droppings. I told her her stove needed to be replaced because the condition was so bad and I didn't feel comfortable using a razor to take off all the dirt and grease packed onto the stove. Even after going against my no refund policy and offering her the 400 dollars back, shows I have tried to assist the customer but she refuses to reason.
