3/3/23 I test-drove a 2014 ****** Rogue Select and put down a $500 deposit with the understanding it would be ready on 3/6, which it wasn't. When I was able to pick up the car at 4 pm on 3/7 and finished the purchase process paying a total of $9250.39. I made it 75 miles home before the car's transmission faulted in the middle of the interstate. I had to drive 30 miles from Pontiac to Bloomington at 35 mph (20mph under the speed limit) because the car could not accelerate. I paid $941.50 for the car to get towed from Bloomington to Frankfort on 3/8. **** said the torque converter needed to be replaced and it would only be a few days. I had to call every few days to get an update and I was finally told to pick it up on 3/20 late in the day. I picked it up at 4:30 pm and was told I would be emailed the 3-month warranty on the car. At 5:45 pm the transmission failed in the middle of I-57 where I had to pull off and had no option but to go through a busy intersection when the power steering was out in order to park in a safe place. Anytime the car tried to accelerate past 55mph, the acceleration faults, the power in the car turns off, and the car stops moving. This car is unsafe and yet **** refuses to acknowledge the hazard and will not return ANY of the $10,191.89 investment I have put into this car and still has not sent the warranty so that I can get it looked at.Initial Complaint

I'VE PURCHASED A 2008 SATURN FOR $4900 DECEMBER 24, 2022 AS A GIFT TO MYSELF FROM ZAIN. I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE HEAT, DEFROSTING, STEERING WHEEL HARD TO TURN, ENGINE LIGHT ON & OFF, THICK WHITE SMOKE FROM UNDER THE **** THREE DAYS AFTER PURCHASE AND WORST AS TIME AND DAYS PASSED UP UNTIL THE VEHICLE STOP MOVING JANUARY 3, 2023. I GOT AHOLD OF ZAIN 12/28/22 ABOUT THE START OF THE ISSUES AND HE RECOMMEND I REACH OUT 12/29/22 BEFORE BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE WAS THERE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MANY TIMES OF TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH **** I DECIDED TO JUST TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK IN ORDER TO GET SERVICE STARTED 01/02/23. ZAIN MET ME AT MY VEHICLE TO STATE THE BUSINESS WAS CLOSED DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS IN TO RETURN THE NEXT DAY FOR SERVICE AND I REFUSED IT TO WHERE THE POLICE HAD TO COME OUT AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE WE BOTH HAD. **** STATED THE BUSINESS BEEN CLOSED SINCE THURSDAY 12/29/22 TO THE OFFICERS AND JUST FORGOT TO TURN THE CLOSED SIGN OFF THE REASON WHY IT WAS LEFT ON. **** TOLD THE OFFICERS THAT HE WILL FIX MY VEHICLE AND RECOMMEND I COME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO HIS MECHANIC. I MET WITH **** AND NOW ***** THE NEXT DAY 01/03/23. MYSELF AND ***** WENT TOGETHER TO THERE MECHANIC AS THEY LOOKED AT THE VEHICLE AND STATED TO BOTH ***** AND I THAT IT'S A MORE SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE WITH A LEAKING PROBLEM AND OTHER ISSUE THEY DON'T FIX. I SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH **** AND RECOMMEND HE FIX THE VEHICLE, PUT ME IN ANOTHER VEHICLE OR I REQUEST A FULL REFUND. **** REFUSED ALL HELP TO ME, STATED I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AS IS AND NOT REFUNDING MY MONEY. I CALLED THE POLICE BACK TO MAKE A REPORT AND THEY RECOMMEND I TAKE IT TO CIVIL COURT. I'M NOW OUT OF $4900 AND A VEHICLE I WORKED HARD TO PURCHASE FOR 2 1/2 MONTHS CATCHING THE BUS IN THE EXTREME COLD WINTER SEASON. I'M HURT, LOSS AND DEVASTATED AND NOW BACK ON THE BUS TO START OVER FROM SCRATCH UNTIL THIS MATTER IS RESOLVED. I'M SHARING MY STORY TO BRING AWARENESS
