On 03/29/2017 an order was placed with the manufacturer Neptun Lighting (original purchase order attached). At the time of purchase the manufacturers rep provided me with a cut sheet that shows a 10 year warranty on the items purchased (cut sheet also attached). On 03/17/22 the manufacturer Neptun Lighting received a defective LED Light fixture which was part of the order described above (proof of delivery can be provided by *** records upon request). I paid to ship the warrantied fixture back to the manufacturer with a credit card. On 03/30/22 The *** of the company *********************** sent an email from ********************************* at 12:24:17am informed my distributor that the repairs were made and that he had charged the credit card $120 for Parts, $100 for Labor & $20 for Shipping, this charge was not authorized by myself or by my company, we only agreed to pay shipping. When my distributor questioned the *** of Neptun about why he charged the card for repairs that were covered under warranty, the *** *********************** replied in a condescending manner that the 10 year warranty was only available if the additional 5 years were purchased and provided a new copy of a spec sheet that shows only a 5yr warranty. This in my opinion is deceptive, a manufacturer can not change the coverage after the sale of the product, the attached spec sheet (that is attached) clearly says 10 Year Warranty on complete fixture. (LEDs, ****************** The attached cut sheet was provided at the time of sale in 2017 by the Authorized Manufacturers Rep Lighting Solutions. My distributor then let the *** ****** know that the defective item was received on 03/17/2022 which is even less that the 5 year term the *** is insisting on. On 03/31/22 at 2:04pm EST the *** ****** replied to my distributor with a new version of the cut sheet, said the 5 year term applies and We will not refund any money. As a consumer I am not looking for anything for free, but I do expect an manufacturer to honor t
