This happened July 10 2024 I was getting charged $520 to open up the sewer because water was coming back into the basement After a few hours of they trying to open it up, they put 2 of their equipment into the drain pipes about ***************************** the pipes and they were not able to remove them from the pipes . And now they want dig a hole in my front yard about ****************************************************************************************** $6,500 that I didn't agree to paid because on my understanding it is their mistake that they put 2 of their equipment together into the pipes and they got stuck in there. I don't think is fair to get charged $6,500 to repair their mistake. A plumber from this company came to fix a clogged drain at my house. They ended up snaking the wrong drain and it did not fix the problem and they wanted more money before they fixed the drain that was clogged. They ended up charging me $391 for both drains instead of $115 for the one that was clogged.Initial Complaint

I have been in my house for 10 years and have called RotoRooter Rockford a hand full of times because I get tree roots in one of my toilet lines every couple of years, so they come and clear the roots. My toilet started to not flush again in November/December 2021, so I called RotoRooter for a regular root clean out. Next day, technician comes, but he forgets to bring the machine that cleans out the roots (accidentally left it at the previous house), so he says he can clean the roots from a vent in my roof, it will be slightly more expensive than clearing it by using the machine and by going through the toilet hole, but will work better. So I go get a ladder, tech climbs up ladder, then decides the roof is too steep. He then suggests an VERY EXPENSIVE solution; replacing the clean out, then he said my problem would be completely fixed AND I would have a warranty for 6 years to cover any issues. I reluctantly agreed to the $3200 fix (steep, but if it is guaranteed to fix my toilet issue, I will go for it). A week later, a crew goes in my back yard to replace the clean out. They finish and leave without saying anything and never checking to see if the toilet works or not. So, I flush the toilet after I realize they left, and it still does not work. So, I call RotoRooter, and they send someone else out 2 days later. They can't figure out the issue. THEN, they decide to send someone out with a camera who then says there is standing water and a bowing pipe that needs to be replaced and I get another quote for $5500 from *******************!! I could've had the whole septic and system replaced by a different company for $9000! I replied back to ***** explaining my frustration. He told that he would look into this and would get back to me. I have heard nothing. The start of this process began on December 10th and I was last in contact with ***** on 1/13. This has taken over a month and my toilet works WORSE than when they completed their "guarantee fix" on 12/20.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:This issue has not yet been resolved. Rotorooter stopped out a couple weeks ago and said they would come up with a resolution and send it to me, but they never reached back out.
