We had this company come out to replace a garage door spring. In less than a month the spring broke. When we called to have it fixed they called us liars and yelled at us and then hung up on us. We offered to have them come back to inspect it to prove it was the same spring and they refused. He then sent us texts messages to send pictures of the spring, we asked that he not contact us again and he responded again calling us liars and said thats why we wont send pictures.Initial Complaint

In July 2018, we had BSD replace the springs on our garage door. They charged us $300, and, written on our receipt, was that the springs have a 5 year warranty. Yesterday (3/8/23), the spring broke. We called BSD and were told no, they don't have a 5 year warranty on springs. I told them it was on my invoice. She looked it up, and said that yes, ok they'd honor it- but we needed to pay $385 in labor alone for them to change the springs. Since that was more than we had originally paid for parts and labor combined, it seemed as though they really were not honoring the warranty, but just pretending that the price of labor had doubled or tripled. We then asked to speak to a supervisor. We spoke to ****, who claimed he was a supervisor. He told us that parts and labor for the job was over $900 now. (Over 3x what it was in 2018?!!!). We said that seemed a little shady, like they were just saying that so we'd pay parts and labor again even though it was under warranty. **** then raised his voice and said that we were just cheap and didn't want to pay. At that point, we we're getting upset as well, so said we'd just that the parts- for free, since they were under warranty to circumvent the exorbitant labor charges (which we believe actually included the parts as well), but **** told us it doesn't work that way. We called 3 other garage door companies and received 3 quotes: $260, $275, and $385. All 3 included parts and labor. This company is clearly refusing to honor their warranty and attempting to get us to pay all over again.Initial Complaint

I had a spring break on the door, that BSD installed a few years ago. I called to arrange to have it fixed, and I was asking the man how much it would cost. He said the technician would charge $29 to come out. I asked for an estimate before I spent $29, and the man on the phone said I should call another company. Then he CALLED ME BACK and told me the range of prices, but that the warranty on the spring I had installed was void as of this call, and not to call back, and then he said I was disgusting! All I did was say I was going to compare prices, and I am disgusting?!?Totally unprofessional and just plain RUDE.On top of this, the website shows an A+ BBB rating, which is clearly a lie. As of now, the rating is a C.
